GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP)—Short-handed at outside linebacker, the Green Bay Packers are turning to an untested rookie for their game Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.
Coach Mike McCarthy said Friday that Brad Jones(notes) would make his first NFL start.

“This is a big opportunity for him,” McCarthy said. “He’s had a good week’s work, and I’m sure he’s up to the challenge. I like what I’ve seen.”

no one else is stoked for his opportunity here? I realize it comes from injuries, but I am really excited to see if he can make an impact

more buff players in the NFL doing good work is a good thing. I hate the ****ing packers tho. Goddamit!

Just checked the stats on the game. Brad currently leads all Packers with 4 solo tackles on the game! (still a quarter to go)
