holy **** TCU is prison raping utah 35-7 11:40 to go in the 2nd quarter

can we get Gary Patterson please lol

BYU actually struggled with New Mexico today. I would have loved that upset.

I want to see TCU play a big time team in a BCS bowl. They are one hell of a football team....

can you believe they had 10k unsold tix for today, and gave them to area jr high students???

i know a lot of frog fans and feel i almost have to throw their butts in their stadium and chew their ear for not supporting them.

Their stadium is obviously too large.

I heard this morning that they're only averaging 34K per game this year, which is pretty lame considering they've been in the top 10 most of the season.

Left over from the big booster, cheating, death penalty days of the Southwest Conference. TCU was next on the chopping block after SMU while I was going to HS in Dallas.

Going Sinker...

Why would patterson leave TCU to come to boulder? He's well established there, great support and he doesn't have to leave his backyard for recruits.

That might depend on how you define "support"....

To me, that's pathetic. As much as people bag on CU's attendance, if the buffs were in the top 5 and taking on one of the power teams in the conference, there would never be 10k unsold tickets...

TCU is always going to be overshadowed by other programs in Texas, not to mention the Cowboys. But, Texas being Texas, they may well still have the $$ to be able to pay Patterson more than CU can...

I'm not so sure about that. For Texas, OU, or someone like that sure, but when playing a "pretty good" team say ranked in the 20's or just outside the top 25, it would be close.

I don't think there has been a game yet this year with 10k unsold tickets. Much less if CU were in the top 5....

:yeahthat:

first on my list when i get some time back is to teach some froggie friends how to show to games on saturday. i'm not freeking wearing purple tho.

I think if Patterson is serious about a BCS championship, he'll have to consider a move to the Big 12. He just might prefer waiting for A&M to open up.

Their support is non-existent. My sister went there and I went to a handful of games. 10K unsold tickets is surprising though. The stadium only holds 44 k.

They have no identity after the SWC collapsed they have been members of 3 conferences since then.
