Weiss and rodriguez get mentioned but why not hawkins?

I watched several college football shows today and college gameday final and weiss and rodriguez get mentioned everywhere for the possibility of being fired but not one mentioned hawkins.

Has CU become so irrelevant and a program looked upon as a nobody who is expected to lose that hawk doesn't get any heat or mention from the rest of the college football world?

Unfortunately yes.. Those highlight shows mostly focus on the Top 10 teams and the big name programs..

I think there's a lot of good coaches out there to pick from.. Whether he goes the ex-CU route, Big 12 assistant route or head coach at a small school, there's a lot of coaching talent out there...

Need someone that can recruit Texas..

Disagree....we have fallen to the depths of irrelevance in the college football world.

game day said at the start of the year !! "COLORADO FOOTBALL has been irrrelevant for years now" somethan close to that..
 
We have not given the much reason to think anything else. The next hire is going to be very critical to not falling into Baylor/Vandy status in everyones eyes (it that has not already happened). At least we did it the right way : (
 
Beyond the "national reputation" of their programs, the falls of Weis and RichRod were also more surprising. Weis was supposed to take his team to the BCS this year, and Michigan started off like 4 or 5 and 0 and looked pretty good before completely going in the tank.
 
Squawk has driven this program so far down into irrelevancy, people forgot that we still have a team.

We have a stadium, and uniforms and everything...
