I am scared a huge win would save Hawk's job. I don't think so, but it's a scary nightmare of a thought.

Here is where I am: I am hoping they lose, but will cheer like ****ing crazy for the buffs and hope they win. It's a win win for me :wink2:.

Conflicted? yes? However, that is what a season like this does to you.

same. I don't think winning the last two will save Hawk anyway.

It is completely possible that we will see the most heart-filled performance by a Hawk-coached team to date. We may also see 2008 Missouri Part Deux.

I want them to pull a varsity blues and win without the coach. Let Cody coach the final game and call a hook and ladder to billy bob.

A CU loss = a CU win in the long run as long as we are assured Hawkins get the axe.

Okie State is playing for a possible BCS berth. Going 10-2 could get them there.

Root for the Buffs to WIN of course. Can't believe an AllBuffer would seriously even ask this question.

Only if you're a jackass fan looking for any reason to get people to notice you. :smile2:

was just wondering how many of my fellow buffs were conflicted. I expected the "no" # to be really low, but not 0. Looks about that way so far.

It's like this.. every day of the week, I want Hawkins gone and would condone any means necessary to make that a reality - even if it means more CU losses. But the second I see my Buffs start playing on television, emotional pride takes over and I'm always rooting for them to win.

Blind loyalty to anything is ridiculously stupid. The best thing for the program, for the players, for the school is a loss and an official end to the Hawkins era, period. So yeah, go OSU! So I voted no, not because I'm a bad fan or not loyal, but because I believe that the best thing for the program is a loss. It's the only outcome that firmly leaves no doubt that Hawkins needs to be gone and I'm terrified a win will convince some jackass with more power than brains to keep Hawkins around another year.

A pox on anyone wishing for a loss.

I'm not dragging my sorry ass all the way to Stillwater to cheer for the Cowboys.

I want to see the Buffs play 4 quarters of perfect football and blow those okie lite bastards out of the water.

I want those players to know I've got their back.

I want to see Hawkins coach lights out and make jokers out of all the naysayers.

I want a slopeside condo in Aspen and access to a personal jet...

At the end of the day, every kid on that team is still a Buff. I could never root for them to lose or to be humiliated on national TV.

So I want the Buffs to win, AND I want a press conference the next day announcing that Hawk will move on after the year. A little schizoid maybe, but that's just how I roll.

If both those things happened, that would really set the weekend up well, IMO.

I look at it as a win-win. If we win it is always a great thing for the Buffs. If we lose it puts another nail in Hawk's coaching coffin here at Colorado bringing us closer to moving on to a better future.

What kind of flip flopping panty waste liberal created this thread?...oh wait:smile2:

Root for the Buffs to lose? Never.

Will they lose? Yes, most likely.

I can't believe this same type of poll has been posted multiple times.
