High School teammate of CU Commit Donnie Duncan.

Rivals doesn't have a profile up yet, but they do have a new article that definitely makes it sound like he's a playmaker. We're just waiting on his SAT score and he's likely to visit in December. State playoffs start for Hamilton this weekend.

Love's stats in the regular season:
"I have seven receiving touchdowns, I returned one punt for a touchdown, I have picked off two passes, one of which I returned for a touchdown," he explained. "I don't know how many tackles I have on defense but I know I am averaging more than 10 tackles per game."

Hagan is our recruiter for Love.

It's being reported that Love is the son of Buffs Linebacker Sam Rogers (Wiki).

It looks like he can find his way through traffic, but 4.7 40?

I'm not worried about the 40. It's no different than all the dishonest 4.4s and 4.5s out there. Looking at the film, he runs well enough. It's not like he's playing against slow guys in Los Angeles high school football.

Jerry Rice ran a 4.7 40. If he guy can play football who gives a ****. The 20 yard shuttle is a more important measure since it shows he has good hips. That's a lot more important to athletic ability and potential, imo.

More recently, Anquan Boldin ran a 4.8 40 at the NFL combine. A 4.7 40 just tells me he'll be more of a possession receiver and not a Ted Ginn which, as a Dolphins fan, is a great thing.

Fixed the Youtube link in the opening post. I'd be interested to know if we're still on him. Could be a sleeper.

Still unsigned. He would seem like a great candidate to offer a PWO opportunity if he's got the academics to get in.
