We could be Michigan. :sad1:

The Wolverines started the season 4-0 and ended it 5-7. The flop came after a school-record nine-loss season in Rich Rodriguez's debut year with college football's winningest program.
Michigan has endured consecutive losing years for the first time since the 1962-63 seasons.

****************************************

Rodriguez said earlier in the week the Wolverines would not be "doomed" if they were shut out of the bowl picture. But he desperately needed the feel-good victory to take some heat off him -- especially with an NCAA investigation looming over his program.
Jim Tressel, meanwhile, extended Ohio State's longest winning streak in the suddenly lopsided series and matched the best run in the rivalry since Michigan won six in a row in the 1920s.

Do they have 4 straight losing seasons?
Are they 2-19 on the road?

If kansas wins one of their last 2 games, CU will be the only team in the north not going to a bowl game, that is worse than anything.

apparently, in the humble opinion of Michigan fans, losing to Ohio State two years in a row, is worse than anything the buffs could manage.

As bad as Forcier played today though he has talent and is only a true freshman, if they leave Richrod alone I think they are back within 2 seasons.

Mind you ... I'm not referring just Rich Rod's tenure there ... but the general state of the program, which was heading downwards the last two years under Carr, despite them having a pretty good season '06. At least we haven't lost to our arch-rival six years in a row.

k state needs to beat nebraska as well. but yeah, ****ing pathetic.

Why in the hell they hired Greg Robinson as DC is beyond me.

If they were smart they would hire Grand Valley State's HC Chuck Martin as their next DC and let him run it on his own.

Not going to cry for them too much, a 5-7 season for us would be a big improvement.

A sample of the Michigan pain.

After losing to Purdue last week:

The loss might prove to be devastating for Michigan, which is in danger of going two straight seasons without a bowl for the first time since the 1973-74 seasons.
“The season is not over,” Rodriguez said.
It will be finished if the Wolverines don’t win at Wisconsin or against Ohio State at home.

Oops, lost to Ohio State today.

Rodriguez endured a school-record nine losses last year in his debut season with college football’s winningest program.

Some of his highlights from last season, his first as head coach:
- Most losses EVER by a Michigan football team.
- First losing season since 1967.
- First missed bowl game in 33 years, breaking the nations longest streak.
- Previously worst 7-loss season done 2 worse by Rodriguez.
- First loss to a MAC team. (previously 24-0)
- Becomes only the second head coach in 90 years to lose his career opener vs Ohio State.
- First time since 1962 that Michigan did not win 2 games in a row.

Somehow reading about UM's woes comforts me. I was rooting for Ohio State today and I've never cared much before.

Players should not go through their entire eligibility never having beaten the archrival. I don't care what school it is. Inexcusable.

Brian Griese is doing color today for I believe the Clemson game. You could see the pain on his face.

Are you sure it wasn't from twisting his ankle after tripping over a dog on the way up to the press box? :smile2:

Trouble is Meatchicken has top notch facilitys and can reload fast with there alumini support. Now compare that to what the Buffs have to deal with :wow:
