Bohn was quoted as saying he will meet with Hawkins today to make a decision. When has that ever happened? Do you think, say, CSU is meeting with Fairchild today to say "yeah, you're still our guy"?

Hawkins is sure that he is still the coach so why is Bohn having this meeting unless it is to tell him he is gone? I have never seen someone have a meeting the day before a big game (or in the business world, a CEO meeting with an executive the day before a big presentation) just to say, "we are going to stick with you"

Now wouldn't THAT be an interesting turn. Bohn heads to the islands, Hawk goes behind his back to save his job, Hawk thinks he's back and starts blabbing about it, then Bohn comes home and fires him with the result a fractured school leadership and an AD denying the backdoor agreement between Hawk and other CU officials?

At this point, that's the next turn of events -- a total 180 on the news of last night.

A guy can dream, anyway.
