Me ... I'm a little torn. Mind you ... I can't remember ANY time I actually rooted for UT with the exception of the MNC game against USC after the whorns had kicked the crap out of us (and Joel Klatt) ... and that had more to do with my hatred of SC and the smarmy man-love the CFB networks seem to give them (I don't suppose that has anything to do with the fact that they are located in one of the top two media capitals in the world?).

In any case ... thus I would tend to root for A&M tonite ... plus it would make CU look a little better since we beat them. And I always tend to root for the underdog in a game in which CU has no direct interest.

But ... The whole culture of that school .. from the paramilitary assholes who strut around in their ******y boots and jodhpurs(sp?) ... and the generally conservative political bent of the institution (it's the home of Bush 41's library ... not that there's anything wrong with that ) sways me against rooting for them.

Plus ... I guess there's an issue of Big XII prestige at stake .. if UT loses ... we could possibly see two SEC teams in the MNC game.

Screw it. I HATE Texass!! I will never root for the goddam whorns again ... **** them.

GO AGGIES!!

GIG 'EM! (whatever the **** THAT means?)

i dont care football died in my heart today

oh no.

agree with everything L Buff said. ATM is the last school in the conference i'd want to go to (except maybe KSU or NU)....because of the "cult-ure" and general goofball nonsense....but, i've always disliked UT (though, that would be my first non-CU choice in the conference to go undergrad)...so, gig'em. if (and i mean IF) the aggies can take this game into the 4th Q, i'll mos def be pulling for the underdog.

rock em sock em nut squeeze your jock em or whatever...

horns.

with the drop in ticket sales CU is going to have next year, they are going to need the money of two big XII teams in the bcs.

Support your positions, you ****ing whorn-loving cowards!

Seriously .. what else is there to do other than loosen your belts, burp like a teamster, and fall asleep on the couch? :smile2:

I voted wHorns, but only so the B12 can get two teams into the BCS (don't **** us, Mike Gundy).

Texas looking like they can move the ball at will. though, i do find their O a little annoyingly dink/dunk with all the underneath stuff and the McCoy Qb draws/zone stuff. looks like Vince Young accidentally invented the Greg Davis offense.

Raised by two Aggies and managed to come out of it not wanting to go Menendez. That alone...

Well not really that alone. Also went to UT for 2.5 years surrounded by entitled, arrogant, ass-faced "spirit groups" in a sea of burnt orange. Which is douchey enough but especially when they support a different team than you. And we were 0-1 head to head in that period so the only scoreboard I ever had over them was wearing my Run Ralphie Run tee the day after Scott's signing. How well that went.

I think I'll grab a bottle of IPA from the fridge now. Everything must be bitter.

heck of a game tonight....

.....and naturally as i type the above, texas runs back the kick for a 10 point lead agan....:huh:

ATM used way too much clock on that drive. they ran maybe 4 plays and the gameclock went from 6:00 to 3:50. doesn't matter, homey misses the chip shot.

ball game.

A&M could have very easily won that game, they left alot of points out there. Just seems to be Texas's year. I dont mean an easy victory, btw, just they had their chances.

Did UT just give the pollsters enough reason to skip TCU up a notch into the catbirds seat? I mean with the score being relatively close, and if Patterson's boys DO crush their opponents by like 35+ points.

Could be.....but not likely.

That TCU road win at Clemson looks more impressive every week. Actually a better win than Boise's home win against Oregon since they had to travel cross country to do it and it was in Week 3 instead of an opener.
