Re: how can goodman be that unbelievably bad at kicking?

it's the little things. like putting it threw the uprights.

Re: how can goodman be that unbelievably bad at kicking?

How about its the little things like actually putting the right personel on the field?

Re: how can goodman be that unbelievably bad at kicking?

He's got a lot of heart, and that's what counts!

Re: how can goodman be that unbelievably bad at kicking?

Please, please let Grossnickle or Aweida get a shot next year...I can't take any more of this bad kicking from Goodman..

Re: how can goodman be that unbelievably bad at kicking?

That is absolutely repulsive. :sad2:

Re: how can goodman be that unbelievably bad at kicking?

is he actually TRYING to miss? because it looked like it on that last kick

You ever put your ass on the line on national TV. I'm not defending him. I want a change. But he's a kid and he is in a lot of pain right now. I hope you stick by your own kids when they fail better than you stick by him.

Re: how can goodman be that unbelievably bad at kicking?

So Aweida was going to kick that last extra point. If you're going to bench a guy, why do it in the 4th quarter of the last game of the season??? Makes no sense. What a joke.

Re: how can goodman be that unbelievably bad at kicking?

The Hawkins comment is WAY over the line. If that's what you plan to contribute, please plan on making this your "final time here..."

Wow. I didn't even get that far in his post! Man alive. My resolve is up about 5 levels. I sat with my sis as she died of cancer. I'm pissed.

Ignore that scumbag.

My mom too, he's obviously an immature punk that has yet to experience any of life's setbacks.

That good huh? Most embarrassing thing I saw all day was how many Nebraska fans were at the stadium. I know the team had a terrible year and the writing is on the wall for Hawk but yall that is ****ing pathetic. I love CU football but I have never seen a school let another school invade their home like that. That **** should not happen.

I wanted to see Atiwanda or whatever his name is have a go at the XP. We might need him next year since Money can't seem to figure it out.

Riddle is gone, our special teams are a mess. However, having returned punts, McKnight should never, ever field a punt on the 4. That is just plain stupid and he knows better. He gets a pass though because he's out there busting it trying to make plays. Love that guy, he's just a football player.

I'd love to see some Moosenuckle at kicker next year. Will he just be a punter though? Riddle me that.

After the game, I talked with someone who would know, and the kickers who did not see the field this year have been told that it will be an open competition next year for all kicking and punting duties and they will get playing time, or at least compete for it. The coaches are still looking to bring in another kicker or combo guy this class.

Yes, it was junior walk-on Ryan Aweida who nearly got to take an XP kick today in the last second of the game. Even if it wouldn't have mattered by that point, that says a lot right there that he was on the field, although it's interesting it took them an entire season and a "10 FG for 18 attempts" statistic to even consider a change.

Final score was a killer but the reality of it was that 2nd missed FG took the heart out of this team. That poor Goodman kid most likely knows exactly how much that truly took the heart out of his team.

Nobody associated with Buffs has more sorrow than that poor kid right now I bet. OH............. wait wasn't Leash hunting and had a gun in his hands ?

I wouldnt be against somebody getting that guy a sports psychologist, he has a great leg. His mental game, umm not so much. He has an NFL leg, somebody fix him please.

I couldn't believe that. Oh well. Making split second decisions can lead to that.

There is no decision to make, he has to know that. Stand at the 10, over your head, you let it GO. If it stays at the one, you tip your cap. That one wouldve went into the endzone. As it was, it cost them about 16 yards. Not to mention a quarter of the playbook. I dont think fans realize how big those type of things are. What happened after that?

I don't beleive it for a second. Before the game on KOA Hawk was gushing over Riddel and the great job he is doing on special teams, how many different people are back there doing a great job blah blah blah. he loves Riddle. I would bet he fires Cabral before he fires Riddle.

I was wondering that myself. What made this game the breaking point for Goodman? Two misses (including one long one) is suddenly enough to force change. Kinda similar to last year's handling of Suazo/DiLallo. It took the coaches 9-10 games before they did anything about the punting situation. Just plain weird.

You know what. If he fires Cabral, even I may join the dark side.
