Fox Sports west coast coverage is horrible. The announcers are annoying and something is weird with the cameras. It just doesn't look right.

Pac-10 football is awesome.

The refs, TV coverage, and particularly the announcers.... not so much:cry:

The Pac10 has to do something about its TV contract. An ACC/Pac10 TV network or co-signed agreement may go over well because of the time delay. You guys get screwed over. I live in NM and rarely ever see a Pac10 game. At least the big east has Thursday night games.

Way to go Pete, I hope that makes you feel awesome. What a chicken****.

Ah, you stay classy too, Rick. Don't try to out d-bag Carroll. It's very difficult. But, if anyone can do it, Slick, you're the guy.

hey, i am glad to see petey stick it to skippy. he's got it coming.

What's this shenanigans going on?

usc had the ball and a 14 point lead, with under 45 seconds left in the game.

skippy called a timeout after a usc kneel-down.

carroll had barkley throw deep for a touchdown on the next play.

benches cleared. fucla players had to be restrained. it was epic.

Barkley made an accurate throw? No wonder the benches cleared.

:yeahthat: I'm sorry I fell asleep and didn't get to see it live myself..

Just saw it on Sportscenter, Pete was all jumping up and down after the TD.. Too funny.. Skippy getting exactly what he deserved..

I didn't have a problem with it at all. USC tried to end the game by kneeling and idiot Rick called a timeout. Fwiw, I'm pretty sure Jeremy Bates called that play and Pete didn't have a hand in it. Watch his reaction to the play unfolding, he almost flips out because they threw the ball then starts jumping up and down because they scored. The game was over and Rick wanted to prolong it to get Kevin Craft some more reps? screw him.

wow. I thought pete carroll was classy but i guess not.

I don't really see what the issue is here, at least with Carroll. He WAS doing the classy thing by having his team kneel with 45 secs left when he was up by 2 full scores. That's an act of generosity, essentially saying, "Yes, we won, but there's no need to rub it in." ****stick then spat in Carroll's face by calling the TO. That forced Carroll into replying in such a fashion as to let ****stick know that he will not allow himself or his team to be disrespected.

This is entirely on ****stick, IMO.

when you call TO, you say this is still a ballgame. i don't have a problem with it. was it necessary, no. but, wtf?

ha ha Rickster.

The only problem I had (and I don't care much about it anyway) was the way they reacted and celebrated after the touchdown. They were laughing and jeering and jumping around on their sideline obviously fishing for a reaction from the UCLA players. If Slick Rick wants to call TOs when you are kneeling, go ahead and teach him a lesson, but after you score, just get back to the sideline and get your kicking team ready. No need to shove it in their face any more than scoring already did.

 He gave them what they asked for - they thought they were still playing football, and he simply reminded them that they can't.

That's the way I saw it too. USC was simply trying to run out the clock but UCLA apparently thought it was still a game, so USC said screw it, then we'll keep playing too.
