going to subscribe to one of them for recruiting news but don't know which is better. If there is a different site all together I don't know about then let me know that too.

Rivals has much better coverage for football. Much more active message board, too (like 100x as many posts every day).

I have Rivals but I don't want it anymore and I can't find where to cancel. I don't like when companies hide these things. If your product is good people would want to keep it.

Maybe remove your credit card info from the "Subscription Options" within your "User Options"? Better yet, PM Adam or SD.

I don't see anything for canceling either. :sad2:

Its funny I changed my card info and they sent me an email saying my card didn't work then 3 days later my card was charged again with the old info.

BTW I like rivals I just needed all the extra cash I could get. I'm trying to buy a home.

HF sent me adam's info so I can email him.

To the OP: Rivals is better than Scout for Colorado information.
Overall, it depends on the school which site is better as each publisher is different and puts more/less effort into their reporting and news.

The information is waaay buried on the website, but glad to oblige.

You can cancel ONLY by phone, during their brief M-F business hours.
You must have the user name, the email address associated with the account, and the credit card and number you used to set it up.

I know this because I have been in a dispute with them since March '09.

My credit card company recommended I move to a certified letter since they ignore the requests to cancel if you are missing any of the above items. In my case, nobody remembers the username or email address, we don't know which board it is on, only that Rivals bills us every month for content nobody accesses. Frustrating and expensive.

How do I keep my subscription from automatically renewing?
By canceling your subscription at least 48 hours before your next renewal date (to cancel , call 1-866-2RIVALS (1-866-274-8257) between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST Monday through Friday), your username and password will continue to allow you access to premium areas until the term of your subscription has expired. At the end of the subscription term, your login account will be terminated and you will NOT be billed for a new subscription.
If I've cancelled my subscription do I get a refund?
No. Rivals.com does not refund for unused portions of subscriptions. When you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access until the end of your current subscription term.

Honestly, most of the recruiting info comes out to ALLBUFFS within a few hours these days, and ALLBUFFS has the same message board discussions going on. If you're at the financial point in your life where a $100 bucks is what you spend on an average dinner out with the wife, then by all means subscribe to one (Rivals is way more active on the message board). If you don't have the money to burn, then keep it in your bank account.

You should join me in ponying up the $15 bucks to support ALLBUFFS!

I find the player evaluations and ratings/rankings are better on Rivals.

I agree, though some of the regional guys on Scout are very good. Scout's better for JUCO (and for basketball) if that's important to you.
