For anyone interested, Klatt & Kreckman are claiming they'll be interviewing Hawk on their show at 4:20pm MT.

If you're not local to Denver, you should be able to listen here:

I'm expecting that Klatt should ask some good questions. Not expecting much in the form of answers though..

While I usually hate talk radio, and I constantly tell myself to not listen to things Hawk says anymore, I'm going to give it a listen. I'm curious to hear what kind of questions Klatt asks.

Klatt won't like that "Burned to the Ground" mistake.

Here comes the backpedal.

I just email Joel to ask him to talk to Hawk about the 'Burned to the Ground' comment.... let me know if they talk about it, I might not catch the whole show

you are right, thats gonna be awesome. I mean, I can already see the lead in..

"so, Coach, let's talk about the program. Now, before you got here, the team won a north title 4 out of 5 years. In fact, they had 7 wins the year before you got here. That is one more then you have ever had at CU. Hell, I was hurt most of the end of that year and missed a few games, but personally led the team to 6 wins, the most you have ever had at CU. Yet, after the game, you said the program was burnt to the ground when you got here. What gives?"

ouch.

give $. then we don't play sunday to friday and have a 3 (or 7) point loss.

excuuuse me coach, we may have lost to Okie state by 3, but I remember a certain Toledo game...

We won a lot of games before we got here. LOL yes we did, we then LOST a lot of games when you got here Hawk.

That's BS, he made Boise by playing non-Saturday games. He of all people should know what it takes to prepare a team on off weeks like that.

"Its not like we're winning all of our games at home and losing all of the ones on the road"

Actually, we dont win all the ones at home but we do lose all the ones on the road

I'm mostly okay with what he's talking about - but he can't seem to focus and talk about the problems.

"It's not like we're winning all our games at home and losing them all on the road"

We're are scarily close to losing all our games on the road under his watch.

So if people gave more money, we wouldn't do ESPN games when we can get them, just for the national exposure?

Am I misremembering, or didn't Okie Lite have the same schedule we did for that game? With the loss of their starting QB thrown into the mix to deal with? And they still won the game, somehow??

This interview is making me livid, and I haven't heard a single word of it..... :sad2:

No, we're losing most of the games at home and virtually all of them on the road. Is that somehow supposed to be BETTER??? :wow:
