CU football
Some of the worst
fans around

If it were not for our dear friends in Louisville, we would not come out to another CU football game. Some of your fans are the worst.

All the snide comments, as the one I received when I sat down to have my lunch in the Flatirons Club. The woman at the table immediately told me I was wearing the wrong colors. I laughed and said I didn`t think so. She then asked me where I was from, Nebraska or Colorado? I said I was from the Lincoln area. She said, \"I see why you are here, there`s nothing in Nebraska.\" I didn`t respond as I will not lower myself to that level.
Then I realize that someone has stolen my Nebraska Football magnet off the back of my car. I didn`t even take the car to the game, only to our friends` house and FlatIron Crossing mall, where by the way I spend money to help your economy!

And the comments in the \"Quotes from the game\" column in your Saturday paper. Nice representation of the fans there! You can tell CU fan Bob Jamieson, who was quoted, not to feel bad for all the Nebraska fans -- he needs to feel sorry for himself when he makes statements about people he knows nothing about.

We here in Nebraska love our family, like our football, and like our fellow fans, wherever they are from.

Geography snobs are funny. I am a multigeneration Colo native but when living in the midwest and Texas for awhile I was amazed at some of th self righteous "residents" of mountain states (Colo, New Mexico) esp in the ski towns. Sounds like this lady ran into one of Boulder's rudest.

Yeah. My response to that letter..."Hey pot, this is kettle, you're black too."

Case in point. Sitting with my 9-year old twin boys behind some ****er fans when I stand up yell "Hey Suh, stop your whining!" after Hansen just pirouetted Suh out of his jock. (unfortunately, Tyler got called for intentional grounding, but Suh was whinig for in the grasp, anyway, irrelevant..)

****er fan wheels around at me and yells (with my 9-year olds AND her baby granddaughter there too, mind you) "Why don't you get you a** out there on the field, I'll bet it's never been there before!"

OK, I'm 6'4", 250 and yes, although it wasn't at college level, my a** has been out there before you b****!

Anyway, I held back from saying (unlike ****er fan) that as I did remember that as I remembered my 9-year old boys and HER granddaughter were there too.

What I should have said, but thought of it too late was, "Gee ma'am, I appreciate you swearing in front of my 9 year old boys and your granddaughter. Must take a lot of class to do that."

Why do I always come up with good comebacks too late?

Anyway, that letter writer can take her holier-than-thou fan attitude and shove it up her piehole! Classy fans, my a**!

Blow me Gretchen. I like the idea of other fans not liking coming here. The less visiting fans the better.

So that means there will only be 11,999 kNU fans in boulder on T+1 2011 instead of a solid 12k.

It's going to be tough to keep the red out. I've never, ever seen so many visitors packed into our stadium.

Yeah Buff fans were treated so well by the classiest fans in college football.

The ralphie hanging by a noose that three different fans in my section had wouldn't be too bad except for the people in red shouting white power, whoops I mean husker power.

The moron that spit his sunflower seeds all over the person in front of him when CU scored the first touchdown.

I've also had my CU emblem stolen at a game last year but its a ****ing magnet that is on your car. This douche was at flatirons crossing how does he know it was a cu fan that stole it? It could have been a fellow fusker or a texas or an oklahoma fan.

this was at Folsom right? I get hazed all the time in Lincoln what does she expect?

Hell i got hazed at folsom. If I hear one more husker say buff fans threw down their grandmas or threw piss at them I'll call extreme bull****. There were just as many of you ****ers there as there were buff fans.

I wish kNU wouldnt keep playing cupcakes and they go on the road to somewhere like Tennessee then they'd finally shot up about Folsom, and frankly I dont give to ****s if they like Folsom, they arent supposed to.

That chic would have a heart attack if she went to a road game in the SEC, I am sure the good folks in Baton Rouge would treat her just right...lmao

Wow - are you young!
My freshman year, the first three home games were Indiana, Oklahoma, and Nebraska - (all blowout losses, BTW) - I thought our school colors were red and white! :smile2:

This lady needs to STFU. Someone gave her a hard time for wearing red in Boulder. Cry me a river. I was in Stincoln in the eary 90's when CU won on the road. Tried to go to 4 different bars after the game and none would let us in because we had Colorado drivers licenses.

Anybody care to wonder wtf she was doing in the Flatirons Club? The self-righteous bullshat that comes out of these morons is stupifying. She's lucky I didn't see her. I would have beat her over her head with her own walking stick.

I like the magnet comment, I am real involved with our local high school football team and when we travel I have the high school flags on my car, when I get to the opposing teams stadium I take down the flags and that is high school....lol

Thats it? Man she got treated pretty good actually.

I could go on and on about arrogant husker fan pricks, but I'll just share these three names of people who have been treated so good from Nebraska fans.

Sal Aunese
Brandon Drumm
Bill Callahan
Steve Pederson

Ok thats 4 names, but I really think Cally and Pedy are the same person.

Well good for her. I'm glad her expectations were met, and her world view further solidified. She comes from a good group of classy, classy fans--almost family really.

The best thing that ever happened to her were these transgressions committed by CU fans. It made her feel really good about herself and her fellow fans, and in my opinion, someone like her deserves that.

By the way, I wouldn't dream of displaying my CU magnets in lincoln. What the **** was that numb **** thinking?

I didn`t even take the car to the game, only to our friends` house and FlatIron Crossing mall, where by the way I spend money to help your economy!

I call bull**** on this. There are no big and tall stores in that mall, no John Deere dealers, no boutiques selling red, double-knit polyester. If this woman spent any money at Flatiron Crossing, it was at the food court.

There is a Lane Bryant though.
