All times Mountain

Yale @ Hartford (5pm)
Dayton @ Miami-OH (5pm)
Alcorn State @ Kansas (6pm)
Northern Iowa @ Iowa State (6pm)
TX-Pan American @ Nebraska (6pm)
Arkansas @ Oklahoma (6pm)
Oklahoma State @ Tulsa (6pm)
Washington State @ Gonzaga (7pm)
UNLV @ Arizona (7pm)
Prairie View A&M @ Texas A&M (7pm)
Missouri @ Vanderbilt (7:30 pm)

Game of the night is definitely Okie Lite at Tulsa since they're both good and we play both of them, but there are a lot of good ones on tap for tonight.

Tulsa absolutely worked Oklahoma State in the 1st half (46-31). Our roadie at Tulsa is going to be one hell of a test for the Buffs.

Northern Iowa took out Iowa State tonight.

It's not good for CU's RPI rating, but **** it:

Thursday, December 3rd

All times Mountain:

Washington @ Texas Tech (5pm)
Texas Southern @ Wichita State (6:05pm)
USC @ Texas (7pm)
Idaho @ Cal State-Northridge (8:05pm)
Baylor @ Arizona State (8:30pm)

Today is highlighted by the first 3 games in the Big 12/ PAC-10 challenge.

Getting a bit ahead of ourselves aren't we?

How so? That's also used to determine NIT and CBI postseason tourneys and I want to play in the postseason this year. I don't think it's too early to say we're good enough and that's a goal. Oregon State made it into the CBI with a losing record last year due in large part to their RPI... and they ended up winning the thing.

My bad, thought it was primarily used for the NCAA tourney.

Primarily, you're right. :smile2:

The others also seriously factor in the name appeal of the teams because they're trying to get on tv and also get decent attendance figures. But RPI is still looked at, especially for seeding purposes.

Re: Today's games that feature CU MBB opponents

Texas Tech took down #10 Washington tonight 99-92.

With Nebraska's win against USC a week ago, the Big 12 is now 2-0 in the B12/P10 challenge with a couple more games to go tonight.

UT is hosting USC on ESPN2.

No reason the Buffs shouldn't be able to keep the Big 12 undefeated tonight.

Go Buffs!

Not to say the Buffs should have an easy time with this one, but CC did lose at home to Mesa State by 30 last week. They did get their first win the next night though, by 8 over Western State, so they might be getting better...

saw that Missouri lost @ Oral Roberts last night....after pounding Oregon last week.

Yeah. That was kind of a head scratcher. It was a roadie and they've got a young team. I suspect that Mizzou's going to be schizophrenic all season.

Miami (OH) at #19 Cincinnati is on ESPN2 right now if you want to get a preview of the M-OH team that will be coming to Boulder in a couple weeks.

Friday, December 11th

Iowa @ Iowa State

And our WBB team managed to lose at CSU tonight too. They managed to turn an 8 point halftime lead into an 8 point lose (61-69). There is no joy in Mudville.

And that 8 point lead was a 16 point lead mid-way thru the first half! Ugly loss.
