Pitt-Cincy game...

Anyone else watching this?

Is it just me or does Tony Pike look like ****?

He has no zip on his ball and keeps lobbing it to his receivers low and behind them. Not sure what the problem is, or if he usually looks better, but so far, not impressed.

Pretty entertaining game so far. Not only is Pike struggling, so is his defense, although they don't have a very good defense anyway. This Dion Lewis is the real deal.

Yeah he's a workhorse too. They give him the ball 80% of the time (either thru the air or on the ground).

They are making it look easy to move the ball.

Cincy needs to sit Pike down for a series or two, he is lost out there.

Lewis already has 100 yards rushing. I love the way Pitt is running the ball so much. And because of that and Cincy throwing the ball so much, they haven't had the ball very much.

Looks like they were thinking about making a QB change there.

Wow crazy series of events there, blocked punt that led to a TD from Pitt then Gilyard KR for a TD.

Whoa, almost a pick 6 there by Pitt!

And then one for Cincy going the other way on the very next play.

This game is crazy.

The C-USA champ game looks like an entertaining one as well. Not really watching it, just flipping back on the commercial breaks.

any chance Cincy can come back and win ?

I don't see why not with the way can score so quickly. Even being down 3 TD's with about 2 minutes left in the half, they still had a decent chance to make it a 1-TD game until Pike threw that last pick.

love to see them in a BCS game with that high ranking -

Gilyard hasn't gotten the ball enough on offense.

We'll see what kind of half-time adjustments a real coach will make to get his offense on track and what defensive adjustments they will make to stop the Pitt running game.

I love running games that everyone knows they are going to run, and they still run it down their throat.

Wannstedt's entire defense is playing a good game, their coverage is confusing the hell out of Pike.

:yeahthat::iagree:

It sucks that we see so much less of that style of football these days.

I just gotta say that Matt Millen might have been **** as an NFL GM, but he is really good as a color commentator on TV. I've liked him doing the NFL games too and wish he would put his fist through Steve Young's mouth on a couple of occasions.

Anyway, this game is full of great plays, and Cincy might need that point back that they just missed.

i've always thought Millen was pretty good as an analyst. there are certainly worse.

Tie ball game. 5 minutes left. Snow falling hard. Conference title on the line. BCS bowl berth on the line.

Can't ask for anything more in a football game.

Yes, what a game! Let's hope the SEC and Big 12 games are even close to being this good.
