Need a pick me up? Great game being replayed Tuesday @ 1pm. Get those IVs ready for Rashaan.

Me too! God, take us back to those days!

Me three! :smile2:
And dood, did I ever get lit on Shiner that night after the victory! It was still seeping out of my pores when my g/f (now mrs. nb96) picked me up at the airport the next day.

We drove down from Las Calinas with a co-worker of mine...huge Texass fan. What a difference from then until now. The Horn fans then seemed resigned to losing to the Buffs....let's get back to those days. Step 1 - Danny, find the nearest exit...please!

I vividly remember Buffs fans driving down the street from the bar we were in near the stadium, yelling out for the Buffs. We owned Austin that day.

CU must soon get back to winning memorable games like this one otherwise we will soon be forgotten like so many other programs who were once great in seasons past. The Hack and his supporters must go before CU can again be the location for ESPN Gameday.

I was there and it was painful.

If we have to lose I'd rather lost to CU.
That is cool...don't know what others here think, but we are very similar to Horn fans....but nothing like any other fans in the Big 12. They all suck.

CU was riding high back then and UT was very average.

I remember watching us lose to Rice a year or two later, an all time low for me.

Mack Brown was still several years away at that point.

I don't get that channel. Are there any other options to watch this? I don't have specific memories from too many games when I was that young, so I would love to be able to re-watch this.

Yeah they had Lovell Pinkney and Mike Adams at the same time I believe. Best receiving corps they ever had was early 2000s with Roy Williams, BJ Johnson and Sloan Thomas. Luckily for everyone else, they also had Greg Davis calling the shots so talent went wasted.

That's him, dude was like 6-5 and 240 and ran fast. Never heard from him after UT. Adams was good also.

CU after 92 never used westbrook enough. I know they wanted him to block more in the running game but westbrook was a beast.

They also had the Cash brothers a few years before that and they were big too if I recall. Lovell was a stud though.
