QUICKLY: Colorado holds an 86-35 advantage against Colorado State since 1906. Since 2000, the Buffs are 7-2 against the Rams and have won the last two games. Coach Bzdelik is 6-0 all-time against CSU and 3-0 at Moby Arena with a pair of wins when he was the head coach at Air Force.

ON THE ROAD: Even though the NCAA determined the Buffaloes' 73-58 win over Chaminade at the EA Sports Maui Invitational was declared a road victory, the Buffs still have an 19-game skid against Division I opponents on the road. Ironically, CU's last road win came on Dec. 22, 2007 at Colorado State, 73-70. The Buffs shot 55 percent from the field and placed four players in double figures. Richard Roby (18 points, 10 rebounds) and Cory Higgins added 13 points and seven assists.

CSU UPDATE: The Rams have won three of their last four games (all three wins at home) defeating Mayville State (79-42), San Francisco (91-75, 2 ot); and Denver (64-59). Dorian Green leads the team in points, assists, steals, while Andy Ogide ranks second in points and rebounding. Head Coach Tim Miles enters his third year in Fort Collins and a 17-19 home record at Moby Arena.

Don't have the MTN to watch this thing....but caught the score....if they don't pick it up, a blowout loss to CSU would be very UGLY & a major step backwards

Any loss to CSU would be ugly and a major step backward. They are not good. That San Francisco team we crushed took them to overtime.

CSU is bad, they've lost to some awful teams, this looks like another road loss and a embarassing one at that.

Do any of our coaches win on the road?

For those of you who missed it, here's what CU did for 40 minutes tonight:

Nothing more embarrassing than letting the Rams beat us in both football & basketball....our athletic program has become a running joke to any and all....tough to be a fan

Embarrassing loss! I'm sick of losing to suck ass csu. Their basketball team is awful. They lost to norther colorado for ***** sakes.

This team can't win on the road either.

I hate csu and losing to them is flat out inexcusable.

I dont know if embarrassing is a big enough word for what that was. Got outhustled by a bunch of guys that really have no business playing D1 bball. Their ****ing fans are pathetic, throwing **** on the floor. Those who didnt watch it on MTN or whatever the **** it's called, didnt miss anything. Those guys were pissing me off too.

I'm staying out of this one. I'm speechless. :sad2:

So far, 16 bball posts after the csewe loss. I wonder how many there were after we lost in football within a couple of hours after the game?

Awful loss. They did nothing well. No one showed up for CU, not Higgins, not Burks. The rebounding is beyond bad. Twice, Relphorde had rebounds stipped from his hands after he had secured the ball. No intensity, nothing. Levi managed to miss both ends of two-shot technical when it mattered. Jeesh.

This team will have to shoot 50% plus from the outside in order to be competitive in any game. There's no inside presence whatsoever and no toughness. It's going to be ugly in the B12.

"Embarrassing loss" and "setback" were all I could think of, watching that 2nd Half.

It's still early, but I hoped the oft-promised "taking this program to the next level" meant UPWARDS.

I think this 10-wins is a strong possibility this season. Maybe even 10 CU wins!

Hope springs eternal, Casey. Even in Mudville.
