Finals end thursday... Over under on Transfer requests by end of next week?

6-7. With possibly more in Spring Ball. Last year we had 5? and this year's off season is far more tumultuous

I'll say over. And my guess is there will be some key losses. Our good players have options to play elsewhere. Our bad players know this is the only place they can get playing time so why would they transfer?

I think "3" is optimistic, and I hope this 'sunshine pumping' is the worst CU Football has to endure. One thing that is obvious - CU's leadership supports Coach Hawkins' direction as he plummets CU Football lower and lower.

I think 3-4 sounds about right. As has been the case for us lately, it will not be the usual bunch of no-names sucking hind tit on the depth chart. I'm guessing we'll lose 1 or 2 who projected as starters next year, and another 1-2 who were in the 2-deep at their position.

Most teams lose a few players but I think Hawkins has a huge task in keeping who he already has.

Buffaholic is the most trusted insider on this site and he assures us all the talk of transfers is overblown, so I will take the under.

If a student athlete drops out of football but stays at CU does his scholly or spot somehow still count against the school?

I'll say two transfers for personal/PT reasons of the schollie guys. Probably a few more walkons who just decide to leave the program and end their football careers. But losing two lettermen to transfer and maybe one to the NFL wouldn't surprise me.

I would prefer we not speculate on who be transferring until it's actually being talked about by those more in the know. I have my ideas, but I'm keeping them to myself.
