Heading over to the CEC in a bit. Hope to see an inspired effort from the Buffs, this should be a romp.

ought to put them away early, Yale doesn't come in with too impressive record. last year's Ivy League visitor, Harvard, on the other hand, has been a tough out for people and has some nice wins (relatively speaking). Amaker was awful at Michigan, but he's found a niche at Harvard i guess. I think Dan Hawkins might find a place like that someday (soon, i hope). some western US D-IAA liberal arts college with a solid academic rep in love with "the old college try" and raccoon fur coats and model T's. hoorah type stuff.

Buffs lead at half: 26-25.

Yale is taking the aid out of the ball and we can't shoot so far. No 3 pointers for us and barely over 50% from the FT line.

This is what Coach B has been preaching, that you'll go through stretches of bad offense but great defense can overcome it. We've got a bunch of steals and have forced a ton of turnovers.

In the past, we'd be down double digits on a night like this. Not a pretty game to watch, but we should pull away and the team will have learned an important lesson for it's growth.

That was an ugly game. But a win is a win I suppose. The rebounding issues are not going away, that is a bit worrisome.

I felt bad for the guy. But that National Anthem was a bad omen and precursor for the night so I hope he never performs at a CU sporting event again.

No such thing as a bad win. The team's starting to come around on the defensive end.

Finally...

Congrats to Cory Higgins! He passed CB on the all-time Colorado scoring list tonight.

Fun fact, that was his second chance. He did that (not nearly as bad) at a women's game during the tournament around Thanksgiving.

Sounds like he suffers from the dreaded "National Anthem Anxiety", or NAA.
