2010 class is almost full - what positions do you want us to fill?

Let's assume we have 3 scholarships left.

Based on team needs and current commitments, what positions do you want?

I'm hoping for:

1 DT
1 LB
1 DB

I like the way this class is filling up with guys that have upside. Love to see a DT and and a good LB as well, hope to see Hemschoot and a decent DT. Overall, I'm pleased.

1 CB

Actually, I'd like to see us oversign by at least 2 guys as it appears we have a few with less than guaranteed qualification status. If we get lucky and they all qualify, more than one of these guys would be happy to be considered a greyshirt and I would be surprised if that isn't the contingency plan for a couple of these guys who don't have other BCS offers and will need some serious seasoning. Don't make me name them as if I go back and review to compile that list, I might name 12 or so.....

I would love to land Hemschoot, but I think we should be looking at him as a grayshirt possibility.

I'd greyshirt Canty. He could use the extra year to develop. From his film, he's got nice quickness and good hands, but he really needs to work in the weight room and build up a Big 12 body imho.

True. It is like buffaholic said in another thread, Canty is one guy the coaches can dictate terms with as far as grayshirting. If he wants to play at a BCS school, we are his only shot. I also agree with buffaholic comment that there should be a handful of players in the same position that we should look at grayshirting. I still think we should be oversigning.

I'd prefer to see a natural center, not sure if Munyer can play there and we need a long-term solution there.

Two DT's absolutely.

An OLB/rush end type (if that is Poston, then that is OK, then we need a "true" DE in addition).

Safety. I think we have enough talent and youth at CB (assuming that is where Duncan plays) that we are OK for this class, but would like one more safety recruit as we have 6 upperclassmen in 2010, and 3 underclassmen. If Duncan projects at safety, then maybe flip that to be a CB.

Got to believe we are done at RB even with shakiness on admittance. With Josh Ford, that is 3 RB's coming in for the fall. And the 2011 class has some big names here locally that we are after.

Anyone know what's up with epenesa or cory hill DT out of texas?

Epenesa visited UCLA last weekend without committing. He'll be at Oregon State this weekend, but OSU just accepted a verbal from a DT yesterday so I'm not sure if they're still in the market. No visit scheduled for the weekend of the 29th.

Hill's best reported offer is still from Idaho. There have been reports of interest in CU, Baylor, TCU and Utah... but no visits and no offers.

The barely baylors have an interesting one - can't think of the name. HS DT committed to them, then decommitted and committed to another school, only to decommit from the 2nd to commit to a 3rd school. This week, he re-committed to baylor.

Quick, somebody find the unicorn......

Canty is the only true WR the Buffs have on this list. Duncan is being recruited as one, but I think he may end up at DB before all is said and done....Where they think Duncan ends up will determine whether or not CU needs another DB or WR.

1 DB/WR (one of each if they sign 22)
1 DT
1 LB
