CU is hosting its next Junior Day on Saturday, March 6th.

Known attendees:

Brock Berglund
Kellen Jones
Brett Hundley
JD Henry
Carzell Vickers
George Talanoa
Michael Okonkwo
Joseph Farmer

AZ QB Brett Hundley is going to the Junior day. Apparently a lot of his family is from Colorado, good news for us.

The Hundley’s are originally from Denver, Colorado and this Thursday Brett and his family will be flying up to Denver to visit family and then drive down to Boulder on Saturday for CU’s junior day.

“I’m excited to go out to Colorado this week,” said Hundley. “I was born in Arizona but all my family is originally from Colorado. That’s where most of my family is based in, so it will be a place I’m already very comfortable with. “

Thanks, White.

I've also heard Carzell Vickers, but I'm not sure on him so I haven't added him to the list.

Is there any other Jr days we might lose some guys to? I would think there would be a lot more guys coming, namely the Mullen guys.

Hundley being there is pretty big news. He looks like an outstanding QB prospect.

JD Henry, the Tight End from Chapparal, will be attending this weekend.

He's one of the in-state guys I really want this cycle.

Two more Valor Christian prospects, WR Carzell Vickers and FB George Talanoa will be attending.

We haven't talked much about Talanoa (and I don't think we have a profile up yet). Pure fullback. Villi Mau Mau is his uncle, so there's a strong Buff connection.

Sat next to the Junior Day guys at the basketball game on Saturday. Most looked bored but a few (with their parents) were VERY into the game. All of the coaches were there - most with their families. BTW, Prince is firmly on the basketball bandwagon - he was jumping up & down and cheering very loudly for the Buffs. It was entertaining to watch him.

Bob Loblaw saw the following two guys at the opening spring practice (junior day attendees): Michael Okonkwo a WR (teammate of Brett Hundley), and Joseph Farmer a TE from WA.

Interesting. You have a good estimate of how many guys were there in total?

I'd say a good 20-25. Saw Jashon passing out the CU information to them all & I definitely realized there were a lot more than originally thought. Tried checking out their nametags but looked a little too stalkerish.

Cool. That is more than I would have guessed.

That's fantastic news.

Thanks, stalker. :smile2:
