I had to put his name up after reading this article. I'd hate to see him at RB for the Rams.

Nice article. There is one in-state RB I want in next year's class though and he goes to Mullen. Good thing he will be in Boulder on Sunday.

Re: '11 CO RB/LB Dorian Brown

Dorian Brown rushed for 145 yards on 21 carries for three TDs in his first game. His team still lost the game...I have watched the Northern 4A League for years and Thompson Valley isn't considered to be a powerhouse program if you have watched that league for the last 15 years.

Planning on being at our Spring Game. This kid is a straight up stud, do not be surprised if he blows up during the Spring Evaluation Period and over the summer. Really hope we can lure him to Boulder.

also sounds like he is trying to transfer to fairview. don't know what the means, but it can't be bad for us.

Didn't Thompson Valley go something like 0-11 last year? Could he be worried he won't get enough D1 looks on that team?

I'm worried that a team can go 0-11 in Colorado 4A with a tailback who's supposed to be this good. As impressive as he looks, that's always in the back of my mind. I'm sure that recruiters have the same nagging question about him.

If his team's defense continually gives up 50 points a game, it's gonna be tough for even the best player to win games on his own.

Ive heard a few on here that think this guy is the best back in the state. I have never seen him play, can anybody describe that has? Any info would be appreciated.

I like his size and reported speed. If they have a game down this way, have to watch him play.

Legit concern. But then you could also turn it around and say the kid has rushed for over 3,000 yards combined in his sophomore/junior seasons on one of the worst teams in the state. Pretty impressive.

You can often get really good players on terrible teams. Will Pericak is a great example of this phenominon. BHS stinks on ice, but Pericak was a stud who played on both sides of the ball. Another thing to consider is that if he's far and away the best player on the team, opponents will key on him. If opponents are keying on him and he's still blowing it up, that's a great sign.
