From Camera article this morning:
Running the football hasn`t been a heavy emphasis for the Buffs this spring because the offense is playingto its strengths, which are experienced quarterbacks and a deep group of wide receivers, offensive coordinator Eric Kiesau said.
Seems smart to me. Let's ride our 5'10" quarterback that can't see over the LOS or the 4.9 second 40 yard dash running "athletic" quarterback that hasn't proven he can win.
Hell, why even practice running the football? True, we have an All-Big 12 tackle, another player that could be All-Big 12 (Ryan Miller) and some decent prospects on the offensive line, but whatever we do, let's not be a tough-nosed football team. I'd hate that we go 7 on 9, or run the Oklahoma drill, or do anything that makes us a more physical football team.
Shoot. Me. Now.
