She's my parents' friends' granddaughter - we're all so proud of her & her accomplishments!

Don't know if anyone else read further in the Denver Post that Alex Van Halen's son is also on the cross country team. :slayer:

It's cool that specific cross country and track endowment funds are set up.

Buff Club:http://www.cubuffs.com

Currently, the CU Athletic Department has 58 endowments that support a variety of programs ranging from the buffalo mascot Ralphie, to scholarships for our 300+ student-athletes.

Our Athletic Endowment funds are permanent funds that are invested and managed by the University of Colorado Foundation. A portion of the annual interest income generated is used to carry out the donor’s designated purpose (ie. scholarships, support for individual sports or unrestricted support). Income earned in excess of the annual amount spent is added back into the endowment principal so that it continues to grow and maintain purchasing power for future generations.

You can't find the program numbers on the web site, so here they are:

Prog #0154183 - Cross Country Endowment
Prog #0154164 - Track Endowment

Go CU Runners!

That's great. Best in the world and only a sophomore kicks some mother****ing ass!!!

Nice time, women's steeplechase should only continue to get more competitive as the event matures. Looks like she is the heir apparent to Barringer.

BTW, I do enjoy "fastest time in the world" references in mid-April.
