probably the son of early mtv video star, aldo nova.

Expected to visit CU. Hopefully we can get him here for camp. I want 2 QBs this cycle.

Article from last fall.

Nova Expects to Shine as Bosco's QB

Nova sees himself as a pocket passer, but he said he is not afraid to roll out and run the ball when he has to.

"I think he has all the skills that are important to a quarterback," said Don Bosco athletic director/offensive coordinator Nunzio Campanile. "He has a great arm, and really good feet. He’s not a burner, but he can run."

"I think I can outrun most linebackers," Nova said.

Nova was named the QB MVP at a Nike Camp in Columbus, OH, last week.

He also received an offer from CU.

He'd look awesome sitting next to Kasa on the bench. :smile2:

Good point.
That's another reason I'm pissed about no names on the backs of jerseys.

We have no more opportunity for those unintended phrases that pop up from time to time.

And anyone sitting next to LSU's kicker:

With a coaching change at Pitt, new coaching staff should give him a call. If Harris ends up being the QB coach, he does have ties to the northeast and we also have the Don Bosco connection with Tony Jones.

Yup. But dang, Kasa + Nova would have been a great jersey combination. I heard on the imaginary grapevine from the sister-in-law of a cousin of my hairdresser's therapist's best friend's ex-husband that no-names on the jerseys is what made Nova change his mind. Guess we'll never know now.

His brother Aldo would be a Fantasy get.

A little inside info that donmac posted over on the Rivals board.

Supposedly, Nova is tight with Savon Huggins (LINK) and Miles Shuler (LINK). They'd all like to go to the same college together. Shuler, one of the fastest players in the country and a 4* WR/ATH, is a recent Rutgers verbal but can be had. Savon is a 4* RB, a huge AP fan and would be very excited to hear from Bieniemy. donmac and Savon's dad are good friends. Additionally, Nova and Tony Jones remain in contact. We are definitely in a position to make a play for all three if we want to give it a shot.
