My prediction on Pac 10 expansion

Big 10 lands Notre Dame and says they're done with expansion. Nebraska and Mizzou "commit" to B12. Texas praises Allah and starts UTexas Sports Network, which royally effs the Big 12 and removes the ability for there to be a dedicated Big 12 Network. CU gets sick of dealing with Texas and says adios, leaving to the Pac 10 with Utah. I wouldn't be shocked if Nebraska and Mizzou also move west.

This wouldn't bother me in the least.

no, no .... that's a great scenario

Yea, lets leave a good conference that has money coming to them, lose a ton of money for leaving, then play our games in California or the land of the Mormons, and I hate California

but if the Big 12 explodes, then the Pac-10 is our best choice

The worst situation is that Nebraska sticks around..Texas gets a network..and everyone in the B12 suffers.

Chip Brown's latest update is saying that teh Pac-10 shot down Colorado and Utah.

And how the fack does Chip Brown know this? We're acting like his reports come straight from the offices of the Pac-10. I'm not sure I believe that.

Chip Brown is a mouthpiece for UT. He is an extension of their AD. You guys think that Woelk stumps for the CU AD? Nothing compared to Brown. Texas is currently doing everything in its power to cause such a mess that no expansion happens and the Big 12 is saved. UT is currently dreaming of a Big 12 where the members are completely dependent on UT and will let it do whatever it wants.

My prediction: B10 takes ND, stops the expansion there. NU and MU get screwed. UT and the TX boys stay put, Pac10 grabs UU and CU under the original proposal, and the Utah folk are satisfied by inserting BYU into CU's B12 spot. Problem solved.

Dude works on ESPN Radio in Austin, he has been a beat writer for the Dallas Morning News for the last 10 years..I am sure he has developed contacts in that time.

And lets not forget..he broke this whole damn story..that everyone is now catching up on.

I would love this. This would be flat-out perfect. It would also put CU back in the drivers seat. I hate the fact that Texass has co-opted this entire process.

It would also cripple the MWC's move for an automatic BCS invite, which would serve the Pac 10 well....

Chip Brown also broke the news that Darrel Scott was commiting to Texas, then broke the news thathe was going to back out of his CU commitment and sign with Texas at the last minute, then broke the news that Scotts mom was going to be taking a job in a bank in Boulder.

He does have contacts (most of them in the AD in Texas) and has over the years developed and broken some stories, at the same time he is a tool of the Texas AD, no less biased and influenced than the media in Omaha is by the Nebraska AD.

I don't know what is going to happen. It makes no sense for the PAC10 to take Baylor and let UT dominate their decision making but it made no sense for the Big XII to do the same thing and they did. I do know that anything coming out of the Texas media is going to have a bright orange tint to it and drawl and must be taken as such.

I too, am one of those who hope that we can somehow get ourselves out of the influence of those egotistical s***heads to the south and get on with life.
