CU to lose 4 schollies....

From what I understand, we took the scholarship hit already last year. I do remember reading articles that they were preparing for the APR hit because of the low scores in 2005-2006.

cbs sportsline piling on, too. Real short story featuring CU and 'Cuse, but no mention of having already repaid the debt to society (or the ncaa socialists).

And of course the DP, one of the "hometown" newspapers, jumps in too with a big headline on their main sports webpage stating "NCAA Penalizing CU for Academic Failings", but no mention of what SDBuff mentioned above, in that the penalty has already been served and this is basically after-the-fact news.

And we are still waiting on the NCAA to say something about USC. (Or have I missed it with all the expansion talk?)

it is really hard to overlook how the DP and denver media in general paints CU in a negative manner consistently.
