AllBuffs (Matt) is quoted!

Okay, I'm certain in this context that dp (lower case, right Nik?) stands for "double penetration". I'm getting it figured out, I think.

Nice article. It is nice to be smiling about where the AD is heading again.

Also, love the bit about CU not being able to afford the buyout for Hawk last season. Not convinced.

good article, but not sure that College Station, Stillwater, Norman, and LubTex aren't on the schedule more than the Bay Area re: Matt's comments.

that's how effective PR works, you get "touched" around the edges in seemingly non-relevant ways....that re-enforces a standing proposition that probably contains suppressed premises.

see: it's not "their fault" is was out of "their" control....like weird extra-personal mojo that Hawks players will catch when they get "some momentum" and start gaining some confidence and winning and getting on a roll.

Way to go, Matt.

They linked back to Allbuffs, too. We'll be getting some traffic from that.

We need to be sure we have some appealing threads on this site for the newbies.

Does this mean I should or shouldn't bump "bad tattoos"?? decisions decisions.

Crap. I knew I shouldn't have been ripping Henderson. He obviously has good taste in web sites. But now because of my rippingness, he will never quote DBT. Never mind the fact that I never say anything remotely quote worthy.

You're either an academic or really, really horny. I suspect the two are mutually exclusive, so don't claim both--I'm not buying it.

Someone want to quote the quote? I can't be wasting my time reading a ****ing article.

I read the article and all of the comments too (where I learned for the upteenth time that every school in the Big 12 regards CU fans as the worse on the planet, though apparently only nebraska fans are bold enough to mention it) and didn't see the Matt quote. Was it the poll? The "meh" had an Allbuffs ring to it.

"I'd be more inclined to go to a road game in California (than Big 12 cities)," said Matt -, founder of the CU fansite AllBuffs.com. "Now, there are better cities to travel to."

There it is, in all our glory

you know i'm an academic so framing your question that way compels me to concede to your either/or claims....which i will not. ;)

Noice Matt!!! :woot:

The comments section is full of pathetic, uninformed morons, as always...

That was his joke, Alferd. Why am I always explaining this stuff to you?

Heh. Last time you were explaining MY joke to someone else who didn't get the understatement.

Thanks. I was joking, but also serious at the same time.

Thanks. Although I did remember the Find function and found it. Get some more traffic in here! Probably result in some trolls, which could be fun.

Shall we start a "Welcome to Allbuffs - and the Best of Allbuffs" thread as a sort of welcome, Matt.*

*You'll note here that Matt is intentionally misspelled in order to emphasize the double entendre.
The comma changes the meaning from "welcome mat" to "Welcome, Matt."

You're welcome.

Matt.

Yes, your bird was much more subtle than your joke. I DID notice.

And not so subtle bird:
