With A&M possibly being left behind - its time for CU fans to unite behind its state funded brother to ensure that the athletic dollars being thrown around don't head to Utah, but instead remain here in Colorado. Here is a case for the Rams as opposed to Utah. The Rams have competed before and could do it again.

MWC Titles: CSU - 3 Utah - 4
ESPN "Prestiege Ratings": CSU- 75 Utah - 43
PAC-10 Rival: CSU - CU; Utah - None
US News Academic Rankings: CSU - 128; Utah - 126
Athletic Revenue: CSU - $22,093,683; Utah: $26,949,805
Top 25 Finishes: CSU - 3; UTAH - 6

The state of Colorado and the CU program would benefit a great deal with CSU in the PacX. Screw Utah...if there is another seat at the "revenue" table - we should all be campaigning to keep that money here in Colorado. Not our neighbor to the West.

Ahahahahhahaaaahaaaaa

Thx for the Friday laugh. Don't worry. U have Boise to kick u around in conference rather than Utah and u still get your superbowl one game season versus CU.

Now you have to admit, lamb fan, that this is pathetic. No one will ever take you serious with that stat.

Cue the 'George Jefferson kisses Archie Bunker' laugh track, this is a big one.

Why, the MWc is a shoe in for a BCS automatic bid, right?

And CSU is in the top 130 academic institutions:rofl2:

I mean, really, you are asking for abuse here. I know it has to hurt, CU has sucked gargantuan donkey balls on the field lately, and still, they are the first plum plucked off the tree come expansion time, by a premier conference nonetheless. Notice how NO ONE is talking about CSU? Keep climbing lil bro, one day it may happen. Safety school dreams can come true. Ask Baylor, oh wait, bad example.

In all seriousness - even if it is a stretch. Their needs to be a contigent in this state that would campaign for such an inclusion. A move like that would be good for the entire state and it bring in much needed funds to another state institution. Seriously - why would Buffs fans be against that?

It would be bad for our new conference. Get off our coattails lammie.

Weren't you guys the ones saying your attendance would be decimated with a move to the MWC? Why wouldn't CSU see a spike to say 35,000-40,000 per game with a move to the Pac-X?

No. Flippin'. Way. Utah beats CSU in everyone of those categories. They also bring in a new TV market which equals more dollars. This is just like the CU to the mountain west bull$hit but worse. This doesn't benefit us in the least and it certainly doesn't benefit the PAC either.

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah

Wow. I knew that the CSU home crowds are bad but I didn't realize how bad it actually was. Wow...

The Pac 10 is looking to upgrade it's brand. They got that with CU. CU now has an interst in not seeing that brand diluted. That really isn't that hard to understand is it?
