I think it is ESPN....
The Big 12 already had a deal with ESPiN/ABC going through 2016. Not sure why they would renegotiate it at a vastly higher rate just to keep schools from jumping to the Pac-12, which it also has a deal with.
More likely Beebe-Dodds is blowing smoke to keep the Big Texass conference alive...
