Valor Christian's QB-WR duo could be state's top passing-game pair

Brock Berglund and Carzell Vickers have grown accustomed to all the attention.
Whether it's buckets full of mail, phone calls, text messages or hand shakes, the Valor Christian duo are among the most sought-after senior football prospects in the state...

My favorite part:
"To have a receiver like him that's fast, strong, athletic — I mean I can miss, and he'll still catch the ball," Berglund said. "It's nice to have that kind of guy. Outside of football, we have a good connection and we hang out. So to have a bond with a receiver and a big-time playmaker on your team, I think it's a real good deal.
"And," Berglund added, gesturing toward Vickers with the football in his hand, "I'm going to try to get him to Boulder with me."

"People are real excited that I took a step there and went to become a Buff," he said. "Some people ask me, 'What are you doing that for?' There's a good reason. (Offensive coordinator Eric) Kiseau is the coach that I know I'm going to be working with day-in and day-out, and he's a great guy and I know him real well."

I hope this is just reference to Kiesau being under contract through 2011. Like other posters from earlier in the week, I am starting to get real uncomfortable about what is going on up there in Boulder regarding a new coach.

What is the freaking Hawk replacement plan? Kiesau?

which head coaches contracts are up in 2011... im starting to think kiesau is the interim coach in waiting... and this is his chance to either earn the job ... or they have someone in mind down the line

No need to get nervous over there. TRUST ME, after Hawkins get fired, we will bring in somebody from the outside to be HC. (Only caveat here is that Kiesau -- or more likely Cabral -- could be named interim HC if Hawk is fired during the 2010 season). Kiesau was given an extension because it was promised a year or so ago -- and while I like Eric, he knows that his job is hitched to Hawk's wagon.

Why you gotta ruin this? Let people continue with the wild speculation.
