Hello from a real Ute fan and Good Luck in the Big XII for 2010

First off, I know that Ute fans are very exciting to be joining the PAC-10 with CU. You guys have a great history and a great football tradition. In regards to any sort of "rivalry" between UU and CU, I hope, if one does develop, that a rivalry similar to the Utah-TCU one can be formed. It is one based on respect and good tough football, not spitefulness and classlessness (I'm looking at you Max Hall you $%^&ing zoob).

Second, I wanted to apologize for you guys having deal with these bitter, pathetic zoob (byu fans) trolls posing as Ute fans. They went over to utefans.net and posted their typical garbage with a link to here about the garbage they have been spewing here. This is why you are seeing so many Ute fans and zoob trolls recently. We have to deal with these asinine scum on a daily basis. These balding 25 year old virgins still living in their parent's basement have been foaming at the mouth since Utah joined the PAC-10.

Good Luck in the Big XII this year,
FederalUte

Thanks, FU. (wait---that nickname should be for someone I don't like!) I am looking forward to new rivalries developing, and looking forward to seeing if Utah can maintain the success they have enjoyed the last few years when playing Pac12 teams week in and week out. Interested to see who CU will hire after this year, as Dan Hawkins has given us nothing to beleive in as far as his coaching ability. Will be a few years for CU to really compete, but we will be back.

How do you think the Utes will do against the Pac 12 competition, and how about Boise? Will the MWC be more of a challenge for them?

Under the assumption that Dan Hawkins is gone, does CU have anyone on their radar? How many years does he have left on his contract? Also, does it seem more likely that CU joins the PAC in 2011 or 2012?

Utah has done very well against PAC teams (and AQ teams) at home during the BcS era. On the road, though, is a different story, but I hope this is an area that improves. Still, since 2000, Utah has had the best record against AQ teams for any non-AQ team (and two BcS Bowl wins :smile2:)

In regards to the PAC, I still find it interesting how they will divide the conference. If Utah (and guessing CU) are placed in a south division, then I look forward to games against USC, UCLA, and CU. If Utah is placed in a north division, then I look forward to playing Oregon on a regular basis. Actually, I hope, regardless of divisions, that Utah plays Oregon on an annual basis. These two teams have had some good games.

I think Boise will at least be in the Top 3 in the MWC. BSU will have a much tougher time in the MWC than the WAC. I think that BSU vs TCU and BSU vs TDS (Team Down South-byu) may make some really good games.

FederalUte -

First of all, if your going to be showing up on this board you had best do something else with your screen name because with initials like that, it puts you right in the middle of our cross hairs
.

OK, Most of us here assume Talkins will be gone sooner rather than later but your guess is as good as ours. And by the way, I think the Buffs have faired pretty well against the P-12 for as long as I've been a season ticket holder. Since there seems to be a few of the P12 teams that are having a rough time of it now, The Utes may have fair success for the next few years in the P-12. Long term, hard to tell?

LOL! That's okay. I'm a good sport about these things :smile2:

How many times has CU played against PAC-10 teams in the past couple decades? Was it usually at least one of the Out-of-Conference games?
