Tailgating @ the U of Utah

Yes, folks, we do tailgate here. There are several die-hards that tailgaite on Friday night before the games.

We have few rigs that are a lot of fun. Here's one that is a staple of the Friday night tailgating:

There is some seriously good food and drink on the Pig Bus.

This is our most unique rig and yes, it doesn't make sense to our friends down south. Pirates don't have anything to do with Utah. But hopefully this helps make a little sense. Pirates have nothing to do with Utes. That's why it's funny.

There are other great rigs in the tailgate lot including a 1930's vintage firetruck and the TUTClub (Travelling Utah Tavern) trailer, and another trailer that the U used in thier 2006 commercials.

We do a good tailgate here. What is tailgating like at CU? Since we've not been there in a long time can you let us know what you do for tailgating?

No pirate ships, and CU's short bus took I-80 east to Lincoln.

There is the Buffulance tailgate rig. Complete with web site.

Alum Byron White donated his RV (or was it a converted tour bus?) for the recent Couches' Tour.

I couldn't find a picture. Does anyone have photos of this donated bus, or any of the RV's that show up for CU tailgates down in the family housing parking lots on game day?

Sackygate is all that matters here. Which reminds me... Sacky, I want tochat with you about some additions to your normal situation this season

What are you thinking?

I have to be honest, I was drunk last night when I posted this, and while I'm sure at the time I had some grand ideas, they've all been lost to the murkiness of jim beam.

we need to turn sackys jeep into a pirate ship and have me ride in capt jack style on his roof

UtesRus (The REAL UtesRus, not the imitator you saw here) is the owner of Porky the Pig Bus. His summer projects for Porky include adding a party deck on the roof and a grill porch on the back. There's always a party at Porky.
