field was marked and cut the fancy alternating way yesterday, equipment being moved around. dudes hanging the motivational signs on the fences in pic #1. visible here: Passion and Details. others: Excellence, Toughness, Integrity, Blue Collar, Hard Work, Selflessness (a bit clumsy, visually), Discipline.

Nice!

Who's going tonight?

Where do you guys park when you go?

I'm going if I can get out of here early, I have just parked in the dirt lot between Folsom and Practice Fields in the past.

This year they're putting up a sign that reads:

"Will you just pop, for the love of Christ?!"

Sounds like drunken sex to me.

funny you say that, because reading the Walrus post....i thought (similarly) of a youtube from a reunion show for the legendary Austin punk band Scratch Acid (with David Yow, before Jesus Lizard) for the song She Said....that details a mighty proximate situation involving the word "pop"....however, the narrator and protagonist of the tale, as told by Yow, is pleasuring himself when his gf walks in.....

Seriously, there is a sign that says "Blue Collar"?

There's one as you exit the locker room that says "don't forget your lunch pail".

edit: didn't see ITB's post. anyways, here's your answer.

Sidenote: Coaches wives were sighted cutting up oranges into slices in preparation for the 1st practice.

Ahhhhh ****.. you went and posted pictures of practice, or at least some tiny minuscule irrelevant piece of practice.

Practices to be closed in 3.......2.........1.......

SLiATED? NOISSAP? What the hell do those mean?

you need a glass half-full decoder ring i think.

two more pics from my old gf's balcony of the Buffs at work on Day 1.....(gf moved to Atlanta on the 1st, bummer for Mick).

No photo of the "Blue-Collar' sign?

sorry, yo. if the practice field is a clock with 12 at the south gate (closest to Folsom) and 6 on the Naropa side...."Blue Collar" is at about 10. it's visible but not legible in the last pic i posted.

sounds like a clock 'leash could be interested.

But not so bad for the GF, I'd guess! :smile2:

not bad at all. she parlayed her grad degree and post-doc at CU into a great job. It's a gypsy life in higher education these days....no job security at all. you live year to year with very few bennies. when you are viewed as stealing tax payer moneys instead of an idea of common good based in education, working 6 hours a week, and a de facto commie, don't expect much.....
