4 wins out of this group: CSU, Hawaii, Baylor, Texas Tech, Kansas
1 win out of this group: Georgia, Cal, ISU, Kansas State
Extreme long shot: Oklahoma, Mizzou, Nebraska.

You're kidding. Right?

I voted for 8 wins. My vote is in hope that the O-line gets their S*** together. If they do, then this team will win!!!

:yeahthat:

I think this pretty much hits is right on the head. We might sneak two wins out of that second group. I really don't think Hawkins has the capacity to guide this team to anything better.

:yeahthat: I do not argue with Sackman .....

I drank the kool aid... If I'm gonna keep it real, I gotta go with 5-7. ^^^ This is about how I'm calling it, except I think we have a better shot at beating ISU at home than we do Kansas on the road.

I expect we will play well at home against Georgia but I think the Cal game could ugly if we let it get away from us. Of course, I hope we do much better than 5-7. I think we are better prepared to do so this season.

8 wins with one of those being a win in a very minor bowl game.

7-6 regular season.

6-6 w/loss in bowl game

there will be moments this year CU will look very good but then they will step on their dicks at other times-
I'm worried that special teams will continue to suck and it may cost them a game or two-

Aye! I thought we were drinking the koolaid people? I'm stuck alone in the 10 win koolaid column with buffnik? I mean jesus DBT didn't even join us in the 10 win koolaid column? We're going to have to work on the little things here people, like complete and utter blind optimism.

I went with 8 wins in the regular season because I just think the O-line will finally get it together and quite frankly, I think Hawk is bound to get it right at some point, even if just for 1 season. Plus the schedule is conducive to winning 8 games if we win the games we should win, then just pull just 1 or 2 mild upsets.

Just trying to be realistic with the 8 win prediction. This happens every year. We have no clue what to expect. Will Hawkins once again stumble out of the gate or will he finally figure out how to have this team ready to start the season? If we come out strong, 8 wins, or even better, is possible. If we stumble, this team could implode.

But I'm always an optomist and I am buying into the offense: the line, the RB's, the receivers and the QB, Hansen. I just think they are going to come of age finally. I don't have as much of a feel for the defense though. But we do have some studs over there. We will all be crossing our fingers on the special teams. Lets just hope for an injury free season.

Went with 8. I am guzzling the Kool-Aid. I hope I am not setting myself up for disappointment, but there is no turning back from the Kool-Aid train for me.

This is still a Hawk coached team. Until I see a team of his stop making the same mistakes they always make, I'm not believing. A pounding of CSU and a win against Cal, and we will see.

I went with 9 wins (includes a bowl victory in a mid-level bowl). I am schizo on this, but I think things are in place in terms of leadership, experience, and talent (and the chip-on-the-shoulder, time to prove something mentality).

I thought we'd win 6-7 last year, so I'm not blind to the problems we had. But I think there's too much to this team, I have new faith in Denver and Kiesau, and I like the makeup and chemistry. The only games I think we lose are OU, Mizzou, Cal and one other road game. The Nubs don't squeak away this year with another special teams win. We go into Lincoln and maul 'em. 17-3.

Put me in the 'worse' category. I quit the kool-aid; it was bad for my health.

I answered my own question from another thread, deciding we can't win a bowl game AND get a new coach, and backed up my hope for the future of the program with a 6-7 prediction.

My hope is we go undefeated and Hawk turns into the greatest college football coach of all time. I also hope to win the powerball.

we go 4-7, Dan simply isnt a good coach. Fortunately, we get a new coach at the end of the season.
