#1 difference from last year: attitude and the presence of vocal leaders on both sides of the ball. The last few years, the only loud player has been cody. Now it is a whole host of guys. Lots of fire.

Things I noticed...

Patterson looks to be our #1 KO returner already. Dude is fast. Very fast.

WillJef was running with the 1s on the outside. It was willjeff and clemons on the outside with scotty inside. no FB. And you know what? He looked badass. I like that O.

Oline is nowhere near set. They were constantly switching the RT and LG. It seemed that Givens is working his way back with the 1s, and that adkins has the inside track on the LG spot.

Solder is looking even more beastly. He just tore up the DL in the one on ones. Miller is significantly thicker. But he got torn up in a pretty impressive battle by Pericak.

Pericak... looks like a new player. Much stronger looking, especially in the chest and arms. He's got moves now. Toasted miller, and not through trickery. Through straight up strength and skill.

Running game wasn't worked on much, but didn't seem that impressive.

Clemons is fantastic. He's got instincts that you can't teach. He got a ball in the redzone, did this little fake, and made Polk look like a statue as he strolled into the endzone.

That said, Polk looks a lot better. seems to be really settling down and he laid a few good hits in there.

Frosh DL look big and impressive. Did some good work.

Obi looks settled at DT and seems to be doing well there.

Lots of screens and stuff today. Some interesting plays.

McKnight looks like his usual bad ass just get open self.

Impressive amount of actual talent on the field. Last year you looked at the starters and groaned. This year you have to look at the #3 team to actually do that.

Hirschmann had a rough day. Nothing was working for him.

Good god our kicking situation is terrible. Nobody impressed among the FG kickers.

However, Nickle is booming them quite nicely.

Lots of frosh DBS running with the 2s, including terrel smith and Vigo. Didn't look half bad either.

Solid practice overall. Lots of good vibes and energy. Hope this keeps going.

It was shocking looking at the roster and seeing almost no ineligible players, and those that are ineligible are either walk ons or transfers.

No frosh RB sitings except for seeing JT torres appear for a pass play with the #3s. It was a lot of Speedy lock and quick. worried.

I wish we'd play Pericak at his natural position.

Awesome report, BTW. Thanks.

Allsome! Stoned him.

Hey thanks to all of you guys that have been posting up your practice observations... I haven't been able to make it up to Boulder for a practice yet and am grateful for the encouraging news.

I cant ****ing wait for the season to kick off.

I think Pericak is more suited as a DT than a LB. He doesn't have the speed to play in the big 12 at LB, but he has the strength to play DT. I think he is going to be a great player there and sure hope with him and Cunningham we have a formidable duo.

That's funny! I forgot that. I can't believe this staff moved Pericek inside. What a bunch of bozos!

Nice report SB! ............. But your comment about Ryan Miller has me wondering what his deal really is?

Allbuffs has a short memory.

Sacky?

You may commence kissing my ass any time now.

TE was most definitely NOT his natural position. Dude was a fantastic LB. But I guess he had the frame to put on some pounds and play on the interior of the D-Line. I wouldn't have expected it, but I never doubted his abilities as a defensive force. I've seen this kid play a lot.
