Give this guy a couple years in the program and big things will come. Love what I am hearing from several different places about him.

I'm sorry. Should I have added some f-bombs in there to make the post more exciting and easier for you to understand?

How's this for a source?

"He is going to be outstanding," added sophomore offensive tackle Bryce Givens. "He actually reminds me of a younger Brian Orakpo. He is just real quick off the edge, has good hands, good feet. Once he gets a little weight on him, he is just going to be unstoppable."

Obi has a similar quote in the article.

His first step, allegedly, is ridiculous. There's talk that as much as he could use a redshirt year he may be so good that we have to play him as a pass rush specialist this year. Dude's only been playing football for a year and a half. He never lifted weights before last winter.

Talked to a couple buddies who have seen some practices. They were amazed at his athleticism. Would be nice to have some speed at DE again, would rather have a true 4-3 than the 4-3/3-4 hybrid we have been using.

i was about 15 feet away from dl snap drills the other day. he was jumping a bit early sometimes and bandi got into him, but man he is quick.

No weights before last winter?! Definite redshirt then. Definite. If he comes out expect him to play 3 plays a game. I do enjoy the reports of athleticism, but he definitely is going to need more technique and strength before he can compete day in and day out with the Big 12/Pac 10.

I'll be looking forward to him next year (whatever he's squatting, add 150 to with 10-15lbs more muscle and he'll be good to go).l

I should add I think he really would benefit greatly from a redshirt year. Let him bulk up to the 245-250 range and look out.

let's not forget his cousin is osi umenyiora. hell of a guy to be able to call and get pointers/tips etc.

This is another reason why I think Bandison deserves more praise.

Herrod, Cunningham, Pericak, Bonsu, Kasa, West, and now Uzo-Diribe. If Poston and Poole can develop in the next couple of years that is an impressive rate of recruiting/retaining/and developing talent. I am the first to say that we have needed more numbers along the D-line (OK maybe not the very first), but Romeo has done a very good job as a coach and eye of talent.

As far as Chidera goes, I LOVE his story and potential. How cool would it be to have non-football kids Poole and Uzo-Diribe as our sack-artists of the future!
