Colorado To Take On Ohio State In 2011 If They Can Complete The Move To The Pac-10 Ne

2 million to get our butts handed to us and they don't even return to Boulder? Great job by Bohn here. This program needs wins not payouts.

I'd much much rather travel to the Shoe than play N. Colorado or some other patch-a-hole in the schedule opponent.

as much as people kvetch around here about no good destination roadies.....lose Ames, lose Manhattan.....gain the Shoe. wins all around, seems to me.

Except on the scoreboard.

When did you become a pussy?

We alway need 1 marquee non-conference game on the schedule.

Bohn is not out negotiating this anything other than fill in the gap a year in advance with the lingering contingency of when the move to the Pac will actually take place. I'm not the biggest fan of Mike Bohn on planet Earth but i will continue to think this is an excellent pull given the situation.

Some of ya, no more complaints about the basketball OOC schedules given what I'm seeing here. Maybe we can drop the Vegas tournament and host the Boulder County Classic with BHS, Fairview, Longmont, Erie, Niwot...

and no more fun making fun of Bill Snyder's scheduling.

Bill Snyder is a scheduling genius. Which coach will still have a job come January 2011? Which team will be playing in a bowl game this winter?

When CU starts winning 9 or 10 games EVERY YEAR they can (and should) start scheduling the likes of Ohio State. Teams that are lucky to win 3 games have no business playing the likes of Ohio State, unless we are interested in becoming their Homecoming game.

Why?? Ohio State is no offensive powerhouse. This is the same team that almost lost at home to Navy. You ****ing guys need to grow a pair.

Would that be the Navy team that went 10-4 last year? The same Navy that beat Notre Dame last year? The same Navy that beat Mizzou by 3 touchdowns last year?

Yeah, that Navy team sucked alright.

This would be great, I'm all for scheduling big-name opponents whenever possible. Nobody cares about wins over directional schools.

I like it. Always a fan of playing good teams, regardless of our level at the time. Play the best when you're good to prove you're the best. Play the best when you're bad to prove you're better than people think.

:yeahthat:

Exactly how I feel about scheduling top teams.

i don't mind it but I wish it were a home and home or at least a 2-1. There are a lot of Buck-eye fans in Colorado so it would be a big draw if they came to folsom.

i think its great. with this short of time frame i am suprised we could get this game. beats the hell out of dick blow SE middle nun basket weaving school. hell, if CU is gonna get thier asses kicked, might as well be by someone good.
