-Tyler Polumbus released by Broncos (thanks Josh, good luck with rookie OLs), he should get signed by someone else soon, maybe Shanny

-Patrick Williams caught a ball for the Packers the other night

-Terrence Wheatley has 7 tackles in two preseason games

-Justin Bannan picked up a 1/2 sack against the Lions - I expect him to have a big season for the Broncs

-Tyler Brayton had two sacks in preseason opener for the Panthers

-Riar Geer - no stats yet, but is getting some good PT, hope he makes the team, seems like a McD type guy

-Brian Iwuh had 4 tackles last week for da Bears (wearing #62?)

-Daniel Sanders - fighting for a job w/ Ravens, chances not looking good

-Daniel Graham - Broncos starting TE

-Andre Gurode - Cowboys starting C

-Michael Lewis - starting SS for 49ers

-Lawrence Vickers - starting FB for Browns

-Mason Crosby - starting K for Packers

-Donald Strickland - fighting for starting CB job w/ Chargers, had a sack in preseason opener

-Brad Jones - fighting for starting OLB spot with Packers, started 7 games last year

-Maurice Lucas - on Falcons, no stats yet this preseason

-Jordan Dizon on IR, hurt in opener, likely out for season

-Joe Klopfenstein on IR with Bills

-others: Benjamin Burney was cut by Browns in June; Chris Brown was not resigned by Texans, is a FA; Tyson DeVree is FA; Quinn Sypniewski is FA; D.J. Hackettt is a FA.

I know I'm missing others, please chime in...

Thanks so much for the list. I didn't know that P-Dub was in the league. I always liked that kid and felt bad that he couldn't...you know...how do I say this? Catch a ball. But seemed like a really, really quality human being. I hope he enjoys success in football and beyond.

I had the same reaction seeing P Williams' name up there, but good for him I hope he's a big success. I heard there's some pressure on Mason up in GB, any Pack fans out there with some insight? Is his job pretty safe up there?

Good thread, nice to see some updates.

BTW, hard to complain about the Broncos releasing Polumbus. He did not inspire much confidence with his performance last year.

Good 'ole Patty Two-Hands. Best of luck to him. He seemed to catch on during his senior year. He had a few key catches if I remember correctly.

It's great to see everyone getting a chance. We don't have quite as strong a presence as previous years but I think there some really great players out there. Definitely a lot of our LBs and DBs. Recruits and current players should take notice as well as donors and alumni. Still a pretty good presence in the League.

Not bad, but a far cry from the days when CU would have 30-40 players in the NFL. Our presence will definitely grow next year (Solder, J. Smith, R. Miller, J. Brown, Scotty)

Brayton hurt his ankle in that first preseason game after getting the 2 sacks, and I just a note that he is still being held out of practice.

Tyler Polumbus picked up off waivers by the Lions...

No ****. In their last game he didn't play until the fourth quarter and when he did, four rushes behind him went for 34 yards against them.

I think he played well enough last year that he will have a job in the league this year. I didn't see him having as much of a problem with his feet as I did with him getting dominated by some guys due to a lack of upper body strength. He was well suited to play for Shanny in a system that relied on technique and movement but McD likes his linemen to operate on brute strength which Tyler lacks in comparison to the guys the Broncos are bringing in.

Tyler Polumbus signed by Seattle, he may start on Sunday (due to injury to Okung)
Patrick Williams signed to practice squad by Seattle
Riar Geer signed to practice squad by Broncos
Brian Iwuh made da Bears
Daniel Sanders made the Ravens, placed on IR
Joe Klopfenstein on IR with Bills
Maurice Lucas cut by Atlanta
