Denver parking

So, the last time in Denver I think we parked at the childrens museum and walked over. That was on a Sunday and a night game, don't know if they will allow football parking on a saturday. Anybody got any advice on where to park? Was thinking Pepsi center or Elitches.

RTD says there is a buff bus from the Market Street Station (16th and Market/16th and Blake) downtown to the game, but haven't got more info than that.

We plan to park at Pepsi Center and walk over --- 10-15 minutes.

I'm getting there early too, but we are stopping at Joes Crab shack on the way home for my wifes birthday. Unless there is a bus stop in the Westminter area

Isn't there a Park N' Ride right next to Joe's Crab Shack? On 36 and Sheridan?

You can park at Araria and walk over. I think. Right by The Tivoli. They may even have shuttles from there. I used to park by Sloan's Lake and walk from there. But its been an eon or two.

So help us out...two years ago we took a Taxi and the wait line after the game was AWFUL. What does anyone suggest we do going from Downtown Sheraton to and from the game? Is is walkable for 4 mid-age adults?

No. You are coming from sea level. You would probably get pulmonary edema.

For Bronco games, I've often parked in the Riverside Baptist Church parking lot. It's a big lot, and it's not crazy expensive. I'd probably park there if I didn't have a parking pass.

The wait line for a cab would be pretty bad, but you can walk from Invesco to the Pepsi Center lots.
You might be able to flag a cab quicker from there, and/or look for those horse and carriage guys ... they will take you leisurely back to your hotel.

If you can catch the RTD Buff Bus, you'll also be back downtown. Don't know how long the wait will be for that or where to catch it on return trip, though.

Here is the Buff Bus Information from RTD:

Shuttle services
Shuttle services run every three to five minutes, from two hours before kickoff until 10 minutes after the game starts. Service resumes immediately following the game. The last bus leaves 45 minutes after the game ends.

From Market Street Station (Market and 16th)
Market Street Station Shuttle to INVESCO Field at Mile High departs from the Market Street Station on the north end of the 16th Street Mall.

From there, you can take the free shuttle anywhere on the mall, and be within a block of your hotel.
(The Sheraton has an entrance on 16th, so the shuttle practically lets you off at the door.)

I would recommend Papadeaux's. It is right across the street and they have better seafood.

second that papadeaux is one of the only chain restaurants I like. Bahama Breeze was damn good too, it sucks they decided they didn't need to pay taxes.
