yeah, must be cool to see what a real gameday atmosphere is like.

BTW.. you wanna see a real game day atmosphere?.. do youself a favor and take a trip to an AF game. they do it right. try to go to one vs Navy or Army...even better.

Been there. Colorado's is better.

lol... does CU march the sorority girls out onto the field in formation to give to the recruiting parties that night? instead of a flyover, they have a hot boxing of the field house??

AF is shoulders above CU and CSU as far as pageantry goes

You are equating pageantry to a good gameday experience/atmosphere. That's not what everyone is looking for, FYI.

I know farmer U fan is in awe of any piece of machinery that doesn't have John Deere painted on it, but CU fans have seen airplanes, on occasion we fly in them. I am sure to your local goat herder, such a thing is virtually unheard of, but a flyover isn't that big of a deal to us.

what are they looking for if the environment isnt part of a good gameday experience/atmosphere?.. how comfortable the bleachers are?... how understandable the PA system is?... ok, CU might have a leg up there lmao

you guys get excited over a cow running on the field with 6 handlers.... dont lie about what excites you

I feel like I'm at a football game at Colorado. It feels more like a military parade at AF. Even my buddy who played at AF said they force the cadets (military geeks-his words) to attend. And flyovers were cool when I was about 10 years old. I have never been to a CSU game though. Do you recommend taking inn a game there?

I recommend watching a game at all 3 schools, yes. Nothing I say will make a CU fan enjoy the day there(especially if you are not impressed with af).. but it its fun to me.. and ive been to all 3 numerous times... IMO, there isnt much difference in experiance at CU or CSU.. neither of them do anything special. I would like to hear what makes CU gameday atmoshpere so special?... the tailgating in small parking lots spread out across the campus?.. some people would like that I guess.. but i enjoy the way CSU and AF do this with a bit lot.. like a huge party... what else does CU do thats different then everyone?

we could start with twice as many people attending the game at cu.

That "cow" would squish that pathetic goat of yours with one stomp.

or turn Ralphie(never understood why a girl "buffalo" has a boys name), into dinner at Teds Montana Grill in one electric shock... yeah yeah.. new smack there unleash hell

attendance smack is something no school in colorado should argue.. we all need work there.

CU actually has decent attendance, not sellouts all the time, but you struggle to fill a 30,000 seat stadium, I don't think I have ever seen Folsom under 40,000. CU needs work to do what Nebraska does with attendance, but CSU shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath as CU when it comes to attendance. Not being able to fill 30,000 is pathetic. Horrible fan base! Proves again that CU is your super bowl and then you dont give a **** about the rest of the season.

I've had about 10+ CSU fans come to games in Boulder for various Big XII match-ups or OOC games - never once have I heard any of them say that CSU has the same experience. One of my friends came to the CU/Florida State game & sent me a text saying "So... this is why you love college FB so much - I get it now". And her family has season tix to CSU. Come on now - your hatred for CU is understandable as a CSU fan but not owning up to the fact that our gameday atmosphere is better is pure spite.

The AF games are OK. The cadets could give a damn about the game, and the fans are real old, so it seems pretty quiet there. I think the location of the stadium, probably the most spectacular in all of football, how historic it is, the best mascot, lots of energy in the stadium, makes Colorado's experience better. I don't hate CSU. I don't understand the inferiority complex they have, and if their own fans could get excited about CSU games, it would make it far more tempting to go to Ft. Collins for a game. But if their fans don't care, it must not be a great experience. I went to a Wyoming AF game at Wyoming, and it was just depressing. I've always pictured CSU games being like that.
