Scotty McKnight

How awesome to set the record on a TD reception. Man I know it is still early but someone pass me a glass of kool-aid, we look really good out there so far....

Having a receiver like Clemons to occupy the safeties has made a real difference for the underneath receivers, and the running game. I'm very pleased. Tyler just needs to make slightly better throws and we'll blow them out in the second half.

CSU blows though.

Yeah, but CSU sucked last year too, and you saw how that went. Like I said before, I'll be happy with a win in any fashion in this one.

We keep committing penalties. Sloppy play has me worried. U know that Fairchild is better at making halftime adjustments. I'm terrified that the lammies will make a run in the second half.

Hey guys! I inadvertantly highjacked this thread. Let's make this one about Scotty.

Loved Scotty today. He's going to have a great senior year, Clemons, WillJeff, Richardson and Patterson and going to let him see lots of 1on1 in the slot.

How many games in a row has he caught a pass 33? 34? Isn't that a NCAA record? (a record that Scotty still has going...)

Huge CONGRATS to Scotty!

I am really excited to see what the record will look like at the end of the year. He may hold this record for a very long time.

I love this kid. All he does is get open. Still can't beat a man one on one to save his life with the ball in his hands tho

Scotty is a great effort guy who has developed into a better reciever than I thought he would be.

He is still undersized, lacks top end speed and lacks the strength to fight past big DBs. That all said, he just gets it done over and over again.

Even with a big season I think it is marginal for him to get get drafted but I bet he makes an NFL roster, of course he has a friend in NY who may have some influence over that as well.

Congrats to Scotty!

Great Buff who has had a great college career.

Etched in the CU record book...and lots of season left.

I think today was game #37 in the streak. Keep it up Scotty! Nice to see him be the leading receiver (without being the #1 WR)again with some big catches. As everyone else has said, no better way to break the streak than a TD!

I think Scotty has scored a TD every time he has played CSU. I am not sure about last year though with the big hit/concussion.

A quick check of the past 4 years of statistics reveals Scotty has caught a TD pass in every game vs. CSU. I think that is pretty cool.

2007 = 24 yd pass from Cody Hawkins to open the game
2008 = 35 Yd pass form Cody Hawkins to open the game
2009 = 2 Yd pass from Hansen to close the game
2010 = 37 yd pass to break the passing record.

Pretty impressive. I think 2007 and 2008 were almost the same play. It sure seemed like it when I was visiting the student section.

Scotty has been the most consistent player for cu the last 4 years. Great person too. I like his attitude and another guy who I thought brought the attitude was clemons.
