Since your question was already answered, welcome to allbuffs. GO CU!

Chidera played meaningful minutes and pressured the qb. Richardson had a very good downfield block. Torres ran for 5 Yards per in mop up duty.

This is an embarrassing question to ask, but I suspect that your screen name an ambiguous reference to CU's starting quarterback. Is that true?

Welcome, mmm_bop.

As others said, 5 true freshman played and they did pretty well. Torres stood out, imo. Richardson and Uzo each made a play that showed off their athleticism. Iverson did his job and seemed to settle in with more consistent snaps as the game progressed. Bell didn't get much of an opportunity to do much since Goodman kicked almost all of the kickoffs out of the end zone. Bell's not getting defensive snaps, yet, just kickoff coverage.

Torres: 5 totes for 26 yards.

Yes, I was just struck by the final drive statistics:

Cu 1-10 at Cu38 COLORADO drive start at 02:30.
Cu 1-10 at Cu38 Torres, Justin rush for 9 yards to the CU47 (VINSON, Dominiq).
Cu 2-1 at Cu47 Torres, Justin rush for 6 yards to the CS47, 1ST DOWN CU (FORD, Travis).
Cu 1-10 at Cs47 Torres, Justin rush for 3 yards to the CS44 (SISSON, Mychal).
Cu 2-7 at Cs44 Torres, Justin rush for 6 yards to the CS38 (WILLIAMS, Alex;FORD, Travis).
Cu 3-1 at Cs38 Timeout Colorado State, clock 00:14.
Cu 3-1 at Cs38 Torres, Justin rush for 2 yards to the CS36, 1ST DOWN CU (WILLIAMS, Alex).
Cu 1-10 at Cs36 End of game, clock 00:00.

Nice work for a first game, freshman.
