2001 nebraska game on altitude @7pm

Man...watching some of this game and can feel the intensity & exitement through the TV...I can't remember how long its been since I've felt that in Folsom, but it's about time for some more magic....PLEASE!!!

watching this game is making me sad. it reminds me of back when we used to have a well coached team with nfl talent. who knows when we will see that again. certainly not anytime while hawkins is around.

holy crap. 400+ offensive yards in the first half. another thing that hawkins will never be able to do

I also like the all black unis with no goofy stripes or patches of color.

Edit: but more than anything, I miss being in college -- which I was at the time.

And for the season they averaged 214 yards rushing per game. Have we reached 200 once in the last few years? I don't feel like looking it up and can't think of any off the top of my head.

How long will it be before CU is back to the GLORY DAYS?

It has been a few for the Huskers, I will admit that, 5 MNC, last one was many years ago, we seem to be on our way back up, and CU is well, how do I put this, a one hit wonder with no hope in site:huh:

I want to sue everyone who worked in the hospital you were born in, because not popping your head off the minute you were born is medical malpractice.

one of my favorite things about the 01 team is that on 3rd and 5 or more, pretty much everyone in the stadium knew the ball was going to Dan Graham and opposing teams *still* couldn't stop it.

The pinkskirts were exposed for the pathetic, slow, weak girls they were. Our boys absolutely dominated them.

I watched the first half last night. It takes Musberger a while to quit fawning all over Crouch and start loving GB.

I enjoyed the ass kicking, but it wasnt the thrashing that the score indicates. The fuskers had almost as many yards on offense as we did. I remember a lot of turnovers and stupid penalties on the fuskers part. The big difference from now was our assistant coaches on that team, and our o-line tech. Sure am glad we ran off Doc, our boys have been so much stronger since then.
The biggest reason I have become anti-Hawk is because he didnt replace the assistants that needed to be replaced. He got a second chance and is basically staying the course that wasnt working.

Neg-rep right back at you, huskermark. **** off.

our guys are stronger now? i don't see any indication of that on the field. maybe their weight room numbers are higher but that doesn't matter. we still can't run for a yard on third and one unless it is a qb sneak. and our defensive line could barely generate any pressure on a freshman qb behind a young and weak offensive line.
