Good call by Denver Johnson on this one. I'm not quite sure why Iltis wasn't on top of the depth chart at LG in the spring instead of playing center, but whatever, he's starting now. He has played great his last two games. Hopefully the 3rd will be even better.

If we can just be even with Cal's defensive line, I think our skill guys beat their back 7 and we have a lot of success on Saturday. If we win the line of scrimmage, we'll beat them.

Good for him, and good luck to him in the game. Is it me, or does Iltis seem to bring more of an attitude to the lg position?

Thank ****ing god. Speedy must have high fived some kids when he heard this.

We still looked better than your Sooners.

I doubt you have any idea how "my" Sooners played this weekend, other than reading the box score. Most people around here think OU played terrible against Utah State, and will need to show much better against Florida State on Saturday to get a victory.

It has been an interesting week, listening to the boomer fans et.al., hasn't it Colonel?

Don't be silly. The whole world was watching, rooting for Utah Friggin State

now if Bakhtiari can prove he "owns" RT we might see some stability and consistent play from our OL for a change.

Solder-Iltis is our best left side and that can only mean good things for the offense.

I'm not worried at all about RT. Whichever one of those guys wins it will play great for the Buffs. All we need to worry about for now is C. I want Daniels to win it, but apparently hes nursing a bum ankle. Hope Keenan is ready for one of those great games he apparently had last year.

Also, Fwiw, the sept. 7 depth chart shows Iltis is NOT starting. Also, there is no longer any "ands" on the Oline. It is Solder Adkins Keenan Miller Bahk. Only other change of note is that Torres is now #3 instead of #4 in the tailback "grouping".

Thanks Snow. Who was the #3 RB last week?

Well after watching Givens inconsistency and lack of discipline combined with Miller flip-flopping between RG and RT last season, I don't share your confidence at RT until proven otherwise. I hope you are right and it is good to see Bakh step up.

Daniels has been an enigma his entire CU career to this point. He seems to never have been in the conversation for any of the position battles, but always seemed like a good prospect.

Keenan was better with Iltis playing alongside him, our LG spot has been the weak spot in the dam. If Iltis can plug that hole then Solder and Stevens will be much more effective.
