...but I am bashing the players. I have blamed our coaches for years but it ain't all them. Our players ****ing suck too.

Truth: they don't deserve to put on the national championship jerseys. They (and by they, I mean players and coaches) are pathetic.

Not very good body language by the players out there today. Just seems like we are going through the motions.

well, its pretty tough for the players to do good when the coaches dont put them in a position to do good. be it play calling, game planning, coaching of basic technique ect.

the mental errors such as false starts, illegal formations ect are on the players. that much is true. however, even without those, no talent will overcome this level of bad coaching.

players are taught attitude from the coaching staff-

all signs say CU let off the gas last week against csu- the same team that beat them & danced on their home field-
CU could have scored at least 14 more but the coaches said no....

this doesn't teach toughness or a fighting attitude

Don't go down this path, makes my life hard.

Make it happen. The players who read this board need no help in knowing that they are pathetic. They are an embarrassment to the university I love. If this is not true, ban me and I will be happy to accept the consequences.

The truth is we are just bad all the way around. We can fire the coaches overnight, we cannot magically get rid of 85 scholarship players. So while this thread is true, not sure it does much versus going after the coaches.

Maybe a new coaching staff will instill some toughness in this team.

i disagree. to a point. CU does not have talent up and down the roster. they have *some* talent. enough to be competitive against most teams in the nation. not win them all but be competitive and from time to time, win a few. however, they have a coaching staff that just can not develop talent. create game plans that put players in a position to win. create an atmosphere where mental mistakes are at a minimum. CU has recruited very well across the line. what do you suppose the OL coach from the '01-'02 buffs could have done with this talent? personally, i think a hell of a lot more. Denver Johnson is just not a very good OL coach. there is no way around it.

there is no reason that this team should not be a 6 to 8 win team that stays competitive in most games, based on talent. especially against teams like Cal. they are not talentless kids. they just get no support from the coaching staff.

no, a new coach will not come in and win 10 games in his first year. there will be work to do but he will inherit a roster that will allow a winning season and mostly competitive games. that is the way i see it anyway.

THe players do not have any faith that this staff can lead them to wins. You can see it in everything they do. Get Mac in here stat!!

I didn't agree with this thread until I saw Clemons QUIT on trying to tackle Hagan Jr on that last fumble return for a TD.

Best post of this thread.

We don't have great talent. I'm not saying that. But we have too much talent to look this totally ****ty. What the coaches can control is execution and attitude. I have never been so embarassed by a team on both fronts. We have enough players with enough ability that I would like to see what they could do in the right circumstances. We have the wrong circumstances at this point, and I hate to see us turn on the players as a result.

FIRE DAN HAwKINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The team lacks talent, speed, and heart. Get rid of hawk, get a real coach in here, find some actual d1 level players, and get this turned around.

It pains me to say it but this team has no heart. The players took this ass raping a bit to easily and to that I say 1580085741_01__AA240_SCLZZZZZZZ_.jpg

Fitting end, deehan coghs it up,they take it to the house. Patterson drops a sure td when hansen finally throws a good deep ball.

DAN HAWKINS IS SOFT and he has made this team soft. Ryan miller and nate solder for their size an so called HYPE are
