How long will Bohn wait to fire Hawk?

I hope it's not til the end of the season. Will it be after the georgia game? Mizzou?

This clown asked for an extension...

it is still my contention that MB made a deal with the political leadership at the U. MB would not fire hawk so the politicos would not have to explain the 3 million dollar buy out while money to the U was being cut last fall/winter. in exchange for that, they gave MB the go ahead to fire DH if and when he pleases after the OCC is done. so, after the UGA game would be the earliest in what i have going on in my mind.

Whether the ultimate decision is Bohn's or the administration's, what makes anyone think they're suddenly gonna wake up and make the right decision, which is the one that should've been made last Thanksgiving? I'm sorry, but after keeping him despite finishing up a terrible 3-9 season in year 4 for a 16-33 overall record, I don't have any reason to believe that they're suddenly gonna see the light.

And I don't care what the ****ing political repercussion or public perception is, have some balls and make your own god damm decision.

he needs to fire him this week, we can beat Hawaii w/o Hack. Gives Cabral (or Mac) time to prepare for UGA, and save the season and squeeze out 5 more wins and let Mac start recruiting. No recruit is going to listen to Hack now.

I know, I know, he'll probably not get fired until much later. Too late if you ask me. We need to cut our losses, stop the bleeding and start healing.

The buyout is lowest when the football season is CONCLUDED.

I.e. if we fire him today, we pay him basically the same as we would have paid if he had been fired at the end of last season.

Hawkins will coach the remainder of the 2010 season.

I was back to watch the CU-ISU game when I was shocked to hear that Mac was retiring... I am going back to see the UGA game, how ironic would it be to have Mac as coach. Hmmm.

This, of course, ignores the fundamental issue: we'll get more for our money in 2010 if we pay him not to coach

I wish he would just step down already. Please oh please...

The longer he stays, the longer it will take for the program to recover. Fire him now. Meet him at the airport with his walking papers.

Was at the game. Have never been so low after a game. Hawk cannot go fast enough. The team was undisciplined, the o-line is not good, there is no fire on the team, and on and on. It is just a matter of time but needs to happen sooner rather than later.
