The Bounce

Teams bounce back. How many people had Kansas over Ga Tech?

The Buffs will win next week. And, I won't be shocked if they show up for the Georgia game.

I want Hawk gone, but I suspect the next two games will not force Bohn's hand.

People can't argue that you are a pessimist. Hawaii has looked pretty decent in both of their games and Georgia didn't look great against S. Carolina, but S. Carolina has looked good through 2 games. We'll see......

I wouldn't be shocked. The game yesterday was just ****ed up. This team has the talent to win the next two. But that does not take away from the fact that Hawk didn't have us close to ready yesterday.

will likely be as tentative a crowd for the home opener i can remember. i don't boo the Buffs, it's just how i was raised....but a rough start or early deficit and i'm guessing i'll be a minority in principled restraint.

Yeah, I'm pretty down on the team right now, but I can't see Hawaii playing all that well against us. I can even see a random win over Georgia just because Hawk likes to **** with us.

I wouldn't be surprised if we won 7 games this year. But Hawk is gone unless he wins 9 now, and that isn't gonna happen. Regardless of why, this team can't play mistake-free football for more than a series or two at a stretch, and there is no good reason to think that that is going to change while the current staff is here. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm not.

There ain't gonna be a bounce. They can't coach. That cal loss was complete and total annihilation They may beat uh but it won't be pretty even if they do. And it will be despite the coaching not because of it if it happens. Uh is less talented and is generally bad on the road.

I thought this was a thread about somebody throwing Hawkins out of a helicopter. As God is my witness, I thought Hawkins could fly.

I'm just saying that I don't expect Hawk to get the hook in the next couple of weeks.

After watching the Cal game, I'd be surprised if the Buffs win more than 5. For whatever reason, I think they'll win one or two of the next two and we'll have Hawk to kick around for at least another month.

Playing at home should help but the one problem still remains, this coaching staff.

exactly. I am really afraid that Hawk will win six games and save his job. I'm not tentative about the win total, but it's about retaining Hawk. He has to win at least 8 to validate him staying for another year. I will not be surprised if Hawk wins Hawaii, Georgia, and then three Big 12 games. We should however be much more competitive, because we have some decent talent and experience this year. The coaches however...they just can't get it done.

I know we had several people saying the same stuff last year, but I am 99% confident that six wins will not save his job. In fact, I'm not sure he can save his job now, short of winning 10 or so. We know that won't happen anyway.

We should win next week because Hawks teams tends to have good games in the third game. After that it will be ****!

I noticed a trend with Talkins. 1st game is meh, second game is always a disaster, third game is a bounce back and the rest of the season they fall apart with one decent game sprinkled in.. It will be no different this year.

I don't come on here and bash Hawk a lot and I'd be a very happy Buff fan if he turned it around starting next week and built a successful program. The problem is that I simply don't believe it's possible any more. Good for KU and Turner Gill. He's now proven that he knows how to get his team ready after a bad defeat. Unfortunately I have seen no evidence of that from this coaching staff.

**** Gill and **** KU. I wish nothing but the worst on that dirty school.
