Told him I was embarrased by what the buffs are bringing to the pac 10, he said we should hire Belloti, he knows the ins and outs of the conference. Thats still who I want to go after.

I am at the point where I could care less who we hire as long as it is now! Anything has got be better than what we have now.

At this point, I'd take Coach Klein.

Judging by his appearances on those ESPNU shows, the guy seems like more my kind of coach.

I still think Jim Mora Jr. would be a sweet college coach, though.

That is someone we need to keep an eye on if the Buffs & Utes go to the Pac-12 North.

Belloti yes....Leach maybe...JMJr maybe.....

we NEED to do something. This is getting UGLY

That is MR. Coach Klein to you.....

the Buffs could also use some of Bobby's 'tackling fuel'.....

If nothing else, we could ask Bobby to do to Hawk what Captain Insano does to the bad guys.

Jim Mora Jr. is actually a really intriguing name.

The question is what we want the next coach to do. I'd have to assume Mora Jr. would have one foot out the door on the way back to an NFL head job the second he got here. If we think the players here are good enough to immediately win with a solid coach such that Mora Jr. could get us winning and make it an attractive job for a second coach to come to, that's great. But, if we are looking for long term stability, he might not be the option.

Don't get me wrong, a coach that would be able to leave here and immediately get a job ANYWHERE is going to be a step up. An NFL caliber coach would be amazing.

Belloti would be a great hire for CU. He (along with Nike money) built Oregon into what they are today. He is a solid recruiter that actually runs a good offense, and he has the recruiting connections in Texas and out on the West coast. He'd be a huge pickup.

You hit the nail on the head big time...the Buffs should get Belloti ASAP.

Phil Knight is a factor no matter who the head coach is.

why the hell would you want jim mora jr? he's just like hawkins. someone who somehow bumbled his way up the coaching ladder without any coaching ability whatsoever. except jim mora jr got to where he was because of daddy. i have no idea how hawk did it

by beating a bunch of nobodies in a weak conference and making his record look good.

i meant how the hell did he even get the boise state coaching job in the first place. how the hell did he win at willamette (it's probably not that hard but he's so clueless that i wonder). and how the hell did he get picked by koetter to be offensive coordinator? and how the hell did he get the head coaching job at boise when koetter left, when it was common knowledge among them that koetter called his own plays. THOSE are the things i can't wrap my head around

He really is pretty good at pedaling bs when times are good. I'll give him that much.
