You have the kid from michigan, pryor, kapernick and the qb from nebraska. If you can get the right pieces, seems like a winner...

I really think we need to go spread option offense. Hansen could be good in that.

And we need to consider going after Forcier.

i said all last year there's no reason Hanson couldn't make the same high % throws that Colt McCoy made at UT....and run that QB draw/spread option dealio McCoy beat people to death with.

I've always thought that football was cyclical. Remember: it was just 2 years ago that the spread with a quick thrower was all the rage, ie: Mizzery, TT, OU etc. We saw in the biggest of the bowls that the teams that won and ended up in the top ten were those like Bama, Iowa, and tOSU. They lined up and beat the living hell out of the other team. If you've got a running QB it is an advantage, but I believe that we are swinging the pendulum back in the other direction where it's not just speed that wins, but strength at the lines as well.

Anyone see this picture from last week's ND-Mich game?

If I were him, I would have this framed...

Yea I saw that and was actually gonna mention it at some point. And the great thing about it is that he didn't pose for it.
